doo·lal·ly
/ˌdo͞oˈlälē/

adjective INFORMAL•BRITISH
temporarily deranged or feebleminded.
"Uncle Orville's [MAKE THAT UNCLE JOE] gone doolally again"

A furious war of words between the US and UK over the chaotic troop withdrawal from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan has seen a British cabinet minister call President Joe Biden "doolally" and the US president ignore the prime minister's calls...

There was renewed anger in London after Biden last week ignored pleas from the UK to extend the deadline to evacuate people from Kabul airport, meaning many people the UK planned to evacuate were left behind.

One British cabinet minister - who was not named - called Biden "doolally" and "gaga" in comments to The Mail on Sunday last week, which made their way to the White House after being reprinted in The Washington Post.

It's all true.

And, under this pressure, Joe's getting worse.

Anyone with open eyes and a brain already knows that America's feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap has been doolally...gaga!

Hts, do you know what the official procedure was for UK workers to leave Afghanistan? Or for that matter US workers? Or if there even was an official procedure? I don't.

I do know this: If I had been working for the US/NATO government in Afghanistan, right after Trump announced they were pulling out completely by 5/1/21, I would have made arrangements to get the hell out of there, and very quickly. I would have bought a plane ticket back to the US and flown out of Kabul right away.

What was preventing those workers from the UK from doing that? It seems to me that the workers who were supposedly "left" there are responsible for their own situation.

    Donna,

My guess is that the UK people who have been stranded by Joe's diplomatic malpractice have careers to which they are committed to, and in which they believe.

What's significant is that, according to many reports, members of the Prime Minister's Cabinet are thinking about the President you voted for in exactly the way pb thinks about him...

...and those people have more direct information than is available to pb.

Those people who chose to stay don't need politicians crying for them for political gain.
