I was listening to a pollster t'other day being interviewed about the challenge of polling Pennsylvania voters because SO MANY TRUMP VOTERS JUST WON'T TELL THE TRUTH. Trump always exceeds the polls in Pennsylvania... and most purple states.
Being forthright about supporting Trump subjects one to the ire of fanatics like po... and there are millions of them across the nation.
Back in 020, one of pb's friends told him that his daughter had just gotten engaged and when she showed dad the ring, she actually said, "If you vote for Trump, I won't let you see your grandkids."
So, MAGAs keep their political leanings on the downlow. On a good day, they're merely pig-ignorant. On other days, the family shuns them. It ain't easy.
Now, let me start off with two words. I support Kammy. I support Kammy. And, I know this. Because of population shifts, Kammy may have to win the popular vote by 2.5% to win the Electoral College. And, due to woke oppression of MAGAs, it's reasonable to expect that polling will probably overestimate her support by 4-5%.
In 020, 538 overestimated the "dithering and diminished" Doddering Old Fool's support by 3.9%, and the woke are more sanctimonious than ever... and MAGAs are more cantankerous.
So? If Kammy's up 7%?, that may not be enough. I know that, until all the votes are counted, I won't relax.
