    Legal goober, retired federal prosecutor and pb Legal Advisory Council member Andy McCarthy will be on the radio with that gay Guy Curt never heard of today at 5:00 EDT.

    While I was on vacation recently, including time spent on Martha's Vineyard where Dershowitz lives, I read a quote by Dershowitz saying that he has a predilection for "Talmudic" arguments and reasoning. That apparently means hairsplitting and being the devil's advocate. The point being that taking the opposing side and looking at an issue from all sides gets one closer to the truth.

    Dershowitz is a contrarian who relishes in making the unpopular case. I wouldn't put too much stock in the sincerity of his arguments.

    Dershowitz is on pb's Legal Advisory Council because he's one of three legal pundits who's analysis, over the years, has proved to be incisive...whether he was saying what pb wanted to hear, or not.

    Dershowitz, like pb, is an old-time lib who's remained true to the principles of 60s liberalism, even as today's lefties have become intellectually bankrupt.

    He's aptly described as "pb with a brain."

    So, pb listened to legal goober Andy McCarthy chatting with that gay Guy Curt never heard of.

    The legal goober called the appointment of David Weiss a sham...AGAIN.

    The interview concluded with an interesting conversation about the pending Georgia indictment. Goober said two things interesting to pb.

    1. The charges appear to be a realistic threat to Trump. Interestingly, goober Dershowitz disagrees.
    2. The Georgia Attorney General doesn't seem to be up to this challenge. His word for her is "amateurish."

    Interesting.

    On Meet The Press, NBC legal analyst Chuck Rosenberg said the change in David Weiss's job title was "somewhat cosmetic". Before he was named special counsel, he was a United States Attorney. Weiss is still a Republican who was appointed by Donald Trump.

    That's ignernt, uninformed silliness, IMO, but if you have information that Weiss is a Trump supporter, I'd love to read it but don't knock yourself out. Were he a Trump supporter, I'm sure Rachel'd be singing that song continually.

    All we know publicly about David Weiss's politics is that Trump appointed him and he's a Republican. There is no reason to think he supports Joe Biden. Given Trump's recent trashing of Weiss, I suspect he lost Weiss's support.

    There is no reason to think Weiss is corrupt. Like a juror, he is obliged to set aside any political biases and follow the facts.

    All Trump needed was for Weiss to find him... eleven thousand... seven hundred and eighty... pieces of evidence that he could use against Biden.

    And if Weiss wasn't going to do that for him, what good is he?
