    The job of the White House spokesperson is to deflect, deny and disengage. They're not stupid - they're doing their job. I don't like the current person just as I haven't liked a single one of them ever in history. Putting aside all the race and bigotry stuff though - it is comical to believe that anyone other than maybe Mitich McConnell, Dianne Feinstein or Nancy Pelosi would have trouble keeping up with Joe Biden. His age IS an issue. If that doddering old fool gets re-elected, we're going to be looking at the same kind of events from him that we are experiencing now with McConnell, Feinstein and Pelosi - except he's (supposedly) the most powerful man on earth.

    I don't think it's his age per se. It's his cognitive abilities. Yes, there are plenty of folks that are doing very well at his age. But not so with pedojoe.

    In CO, I worked with a veterans non profit. These folks (men and women) were WWII, Korean, Vietnam, and GWOT folks. Except for the GWOT folks, they all have one thing in common. They all are aging differently a B24 pilot of WWII was pretty sharp until he died a couple of years ago. My brother in law is in really bad shape from agent orange, and is also ripping his mental capacity greatly. It's not a "all" or even "most" people this or that age, you have to look at the individual.

    I listen to Dana Perino about her. Having been a communications lead, she has a unique perspective. Her view is the handlers for pedojoe are amateurs. They don't know how to give her information to help her out of binds. The other thing Dana does is to give ways to help her help doing her job. The administration is very specific about some things (hunter for one), but they're not telling her how to switch the narrative. And they really don't know how to lead the narrative instead of being reactive.
    So I'd say it's about 70% them, and 30% her.

    Of course everyone is different - Bernie Sanders is still sharp as a tack. But it's also safe to say people of a certain age should not be making laws for the rest of the nation. Lots of jobs have age limits. There is nothing wrong with telling someone 75 years old and totally out of touch with the rest of the nation that it's time to step aside and let someone else take over.
