In deference to those who are hypersensitive to a certain name being mentioned, I edited the following news report.--CA

(CNBC)Matthew "Little Squid" Calamari Jr., He Who Shall Not Be Named's director of security and son of its chief operating officer, is expected to testify Thursday before a Manhattan grand jury investigating He Who Shall Not Be Named's company, a person with direct knowledge of the matter told CNBC on Wednesday.

Calamari Jr. was served a subpoena for his testimony earlier this week, the person said.

    Donna,

    That's actually news about him.

But, the US, under the incompetent leadership of Joe Biden, has abandoned a majority of its friends and a still undetermined number of its citizens to the medieval cruelty of the Taliban in Afghanistan, ain't!

Well heck! Afghan women should simply move to Saudi Arabia where our long standing, freedom-inducing partnership with the Saudi government there will insure that they are treated like princesses!

US foreign policy has absolutely nothing to do with humanitarianism.

US foreign policy has absolutely nothing to do with humanitarianism.

Keeping promises to the interpreters and translators who risked their lives for us has nothing to do with humanitarianism.

    Were they actually "promised" that?

This article was published in November 2016:

    The Tragic Fate of the Afghan Interpreters the U.S. Left Behind;
These men risked their lives for the U.S. military. Now many would like to come to America but are stranded — and in danger
    Link below.

The truth is that many of those interpreters would probably have never gotten out of there, at least to the US.

That may be. It strikes me that your "truth" is a function of your convenient naívete.

The objective, verifiable, truth is that Joe abandoned and abused them.

That "feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" is "doolally."

You have a simplistic and conveniently partisan view of the situation.

    I?

I have been opposed to both parties' handling of this from the beginning.
