Easy. His lips are moving.
I'm on a month's vacay. This week, it's Virginia Beach, Virginia. We move on every week. Starting tomorrow it's Myrtle Beach in South Carolina.
So,...I have a lot of free time.
I was able to watch Joe's speech, the press questions he answered and the pressers that followed with members of the administration.
During the time Joe spoke, I can't think of one thing he said that was entirely true. Everything that Joe said was, as po would say a, f*ckin, as po would say, blatant, as po would say, prevarication.
The pressers that followed amounted to, almost entirely, administration spokespeople attempting to make right Joe's misstatements of fact.
Joe Biden can no longer speak truth.
His cognitive decline is so far advanced that he can't engage truth.

Let me just say this about that and let me make this perfectly clear: This is a difference between Curt and the other Swampcult Blue MAGAs here and me. I don't get bunched drawers over Joe's lies...
...for the same reason I didn't get upset when Trump wasn't entirely truthful.
I have spent a lot of time watching Trump's speeches and pressers. It was perfectly clear to me that much of what Trump said was not exactly true. And yikes! Nuthin Joe's been saying lately closely resembles truth. The press' job lately has been to sort through all of the misstatements Joe's been making.
And, while I think Joe needs to no longer be President, I don't shame Joe for his lies.
Joe's well into dementia. He can't know truth. I don't expect him to tell the truth. It's similar with Trump. He has his own problems. Both Joe and Trump BELIEVE what they say. They don't intend to deceive, like Bubba Clinton did.
So, Joe doesn't speak truth. Our Executive Branch officials spend much of their time in this crisis untelling Joe's lies. And, that's counterproductive.
But, it's not Joe's fault.
If there's fault, it's with the people who voted for him wide eyed, knowing that his brain's shot.
Shame on you. But don't blame that poor frail, doddering, demented old man. He's doin the best that he can.
