    Paper Moon destroyed the relationship between Ryan and Tatum O'Neal. Ryan's ego couldn't stand the idea that Tatum was getting all the attention (and Oscar) when he was the star of the movie.

Interspersed with text including the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, Pledge of Allegiance, and the lyrics to the chorus to Greenwood’s “God Bless The USA.” Critics saw it as a symbol of Christian nationalism, a right-wing movement that believes the U.S. was founded as a Christian nation.

    Trump is assisting promoting Lee Greenwood's 'God Bless The USA Bible': What to know about the book and its long journey. Greenwood — the Nashville area country musician whose hit song “God Bless the USA” inspired the Bible with a similar namesake — has long been allies with Trump and other prominent Republicans, many of whom are featured in promotional material for the “God Bless The USA Bible.” But that reputational clout in conservative circles hasn’t necessarily translated to business success in the past, largely due to a major change in the book’s publishing plan.

    So you can like it or not. I find it funny that the one that should be LEAST caring about this is the one that is apparently the most butt-hurt. I don't get it that our local atheist is the one telling everyone else what to believe.

That's the only thing you can see. I'm just happy my life doesn't include that hatred of anyone, and I can actually choose happiness in my life.

    This particular Bible may not be for me, but I don't feel I have to mock people that would want this just to make me feel better about myself by putting other people down. And Greenwood's been a good guy for a long time. Kind of a one-hit wonder, but he spends a lot donating his time and money for folks less fortunate than he is.

    Fortune magazine also doesn't believe that Trump isn't taking a cut from the Bible sales. Greenwood could be technically correct. The Bible moolah might not go directly to Trump but some entity Trump controls or it's a licensing deal like Fortune suggests.

    The Bible’s website states the product “is not political and has nothing to do with any political campaign.”

    “GodBlessTheUSABible.com is not owned, managed or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Ventures LLC or any of their respective principals or affiliates,” it says.

    Instead, it says, “GodBlessTheUSABible.com uses Donald J. Trump’s name, likeness and image under paid license from CIC Ventures LLC, which license may be terminated or revoked according to its terms.”

    CIC Ventures LLC, a company that Trump reported owning in his 2023 financial disclosure, has a similar arrangement with 45Footwear, which also says it uses Trump’s “name, likeness and image under paid license from CIC Ventures LLC, which license may be terminated or revoked according to its terms.”

    A Trump spokesperson and God Bless the USA Bible did not immediately respond to questions about how much Trump was paid for the licensing deal or stands to make from each book sale.

    Don't blame the DOJ for Trump's legal issues. If he doesn't have the time, he shouldn't have done the crime(s). Trump is facing civil and criminal trials in state courts; nothing to do with the DOJ. Some of his trials were put on hold as he invoked his presidential right not to be prosecuted while he was in office. He attempted to corruptly stay in office so he could continue to have presidential immunity.

    Running for president is not supposed to be a license to break laws and get out of jail free card. Even ex-presidents are supposed to return classified documents when asked.
