et’s see....When the Trump voters here finally decided to dump Trump and support their new saint...DeSantis. I wondered how long it would be before they dump “da saint” and became supporters of Vivek Ramaswamy, who has been gaining on DeSantis in the polls !!!

It probably won’t be long now as their saint’s campaign is in free fall !!

    I've been thinking about posting something on this. pb's been very discouraged by the way DeSantis has run his campaign. When pb thinks about about throwing in the towel, he reads Jaimee Michell on X. Y'know. The founder of GAG. She's the most devoted DeSantis supporter I've ever encountered. So much so that she has the conservative version of TDS. She HATES Trump.

    Clearly, the DeSantis campaign has been poorly managed.

    Michell reminds me why I support DeSantis. I am absolutely convinced that he'd be the most effective president among all the candidates. I'll support him to the end. One way or t'other.

    He's the best fit for the GAG gang and for ol pb. I think that OD is so happy with him as his own governor that he wants to keep him.

    The thing is, HatetheSwamp's alternate name is HatewhatsWoke. DeSantis has proved to be effective in defeating social wokeism. He's what the country needs.

    The problem with his campaign is that he has been steered too much in the direction of the SwampGOPs.

    isle- First, unlike the sheeple, Lead and I have our own minds. We disagree. We talk about it. and sometimes we agree to disagree. I think there are some things Ron oversteps on. And he's showing that he might overstep on the states. That's a bad thing for me. The states need to figure out their own state. If it suits their state, they have the obligation to run their state differently than any other state in the Republic.

    The only time I care is how it fits into the domestic issues. I did remark about california's electric grid being broke but newsome is making EVs mandatory. That doesn't make sense to me. Some people love the idea and will deal with it. If CA love him? then keep him in (but keep him in the state).

    Would I vote for Ron if he were the nominee? Yes. Absolutely. It's infinitely better than the option. Would I vote for (name your person here) in the primary? I dunno. Wait and see. Like Lead, I will always vote anti-woke. I realize they will be around until Armageddon, and I will vote my core values every time. That's why in 1999, I changed my party affiliation from dim. My wife chose to vote unaffiliated which is her right.

    I make this point over and over. Our side is the home of openness and acceptance and tolerance, diversity, inclusion and freethinking. The Republican Party is all of that, too.

    Woke people. Progressives. They truly are sheeple. They have a hivemind. They walk in lockstep. They repeat the propaganda.

    When we were young, liberals were open minded. Free. Today they absolutely are submissive. That continues to stun me. Really. Truly!

That”s why they make sinkers out of lead, to bring the hook and bait down to the dark bottom, down to the slime and the mud where Hate and the other bottom feeders live.

    That's a non sequitur but I remember quite a few of the names Hate has used over the years.

    Do you even know any of the various meanings Hate has given for pb? To name some, pastor bill, postmodern biblethumper, and then of course he often describes himself through his screen names like one of the most accurate...malignant narcissist.

    I even remember when Hate was in what he called the belief business. He had his own little congregation up in PA but he quit or maybe he got booted out but then he started running his belief business out of his house and had his followers meet there.

    When Curt shut down the old forum, I was "rube," which isle?, was that yours? I'm not sure but it has your ring. One of my faves was "doofus." Another? "Pompous Blatherer"...

    ...just acknowledging woke hate. There've been many.
