One of the objectives that Hate is not failing at is in his efforts to undermine Americans faith in our elections and our electoral process. Fewer and fewer Americans believe the Big Lie but the number of Americans who are worried about elections in the future is growing.

Their realization of how close we came to having this election overturned has them concerned that this could eventually happen in some future election.

Americans confidence in elections has faded since Jan 6, not because they fear election fraud, but rather “about half of Americans, 48%, say they think it is at least somewhat likely that in the next few years, some elected officials will successfully overturn the results of a US election because their party did not win.”

The currant Republican Party has clearly demonstrated to us how it could be done.

Hate and others who spout the same "stolen election" nonsense may be shooting themselves in the foot. Republicans are significantly less confident in our elections that Democrats. If a person thinks that their vote won't be fairly counted they probably don't have the same motivation to cast their ballot.

Among Democrats, 30% say they are very confident in the U.S. election systems overall. Regarding independents, only 1 in 5 consider themselves "very confident" in the nation's elections.

Even fewer Republicans (13%) are very confident, with a considerable majority (59%) having little faith in the system, responding that they either are "not so confident" or "not confident at all," a snapshot of growing skepticism a year after the harrowing attack on the U.S. Capitol.

    Thanks, HtS!

You're welcome, Curt, but, based on the way GOPs are flooding the polls, it appears that they'll be okay.
