1. How important to you is a club with an extensive history of professional footy?

I�d love a team with a history going back over 100 years (even if it involves relocation, mergers, or mostly losing).

I want a club connected to an organization with a long history, but has forged its own successful identity via merger or relocation.

I have no issue cheering for an modern-day expansion team. Success or promise surpasses history.

2. Are you ok with your team playing second fiddle, in terms of popularity, to the local rugby league team?

I want my team to play in a city where Aussie Rules is the most popular sport. Think NHL in Canada.

I don�t care if my footy team is less popular than the rugby league team. I�m usually a fan of the underappreciated team in my city anyway. Think most MLB teams.

I don�t want to be miserable with a long-suffering fanbase. Give me a team that has won a championship in the past decade.

I prefer an exciting offensive-focus. More goals, even at the expense of giving them up too.

Yes, I want a team that�s a favorite to win the title this year.

I�m in this for the long haul. Give me a club that may be struggling now, and whose successes will be that much sweeter after I�ve stuck it out with them.

6. How important is stadium size to you?

I don�t care how far back I�m sitting, I love the atmosphere of experiencing the game with as many as 100,000 fans.

I want a big stadium environment, but also one where most of the seats are good ones. A place that holds 40,000-60,000 spectators is ideal.

The smaller the better. I want to feel right on top of the game. A venue for 25,000-35,000 fans is perfect.

I prefer an old, storied stadium with tons of great sports moments within their walls.

Older doesn�t mean better. I�ll take modern amenities and better sightlines over nostalgia.

I want a club whose fans are loyal, whose games sell out, and whose logo I see everywhere.

A solid fanbase works for me. I�d like to easily get tickets to their games, but whose supporters aren�t fair-weather fans either.

The size of my club�s fan base isn�t that big of a deal to me. I value the intelligence of the hardcore fans over sheer numbers anyway.
