Ethylene Glycol (EG) intoxicated patient arrives in emergency department
Loading dose of Fomepizole adminstered, serum EG levels sent to lab
Fomepizole only therapy initiated
Admission to regular medical floor bed
Q12 hour fomepizole doses until serum level <=20mg/dL









 
 Admission to critical care bed
 
 Termination of therapy
 









 
 Hemodialysis and fomepizole dual therapy intitiated
8-12 hour dialysis run with q4 hour fomepizole through course until serum EG levels <=20mg/dL
