This process should be used when determining how to answer or escalate a rules question.
                 
Was the rule question as a result of a class discussion or question?
YES
 Do you have a clear understanding of the rule's application?
YES
 Provide the student or class with the system standard regarding the application of the rule.

Is this a question that you would like to address on a regional call?
Forward the specific information to your Regional Director for clarification. Advise the student/class that you will respond later, once you have received a clarification.
Regional Director will compose a brief synopsis of the question and send it via Lotus Notes to Steve Forsgren, copying the HRTT Leadership Team.
Once a response from the Rules Dept is obtained, the Regional Director will report back to the individual who made the inital inquiry, copying the HRTT Leadership Team.
