Patient arrives in hospital parking lot and parks their car, and heads to outpatient registration. (LEVEL 1 AREA)

The patient comes to outpatient registration to be registered as here at the hospital. Next the patient heads to the radiology dept. OUR (LEVEL 2)

Once here at radiology the patient brings his/her order to the check in desk to have their order put into the RIS system. After having their order put in they can take a seat in the radiology waiting room and wait for the MRI tech to call them.(still OUR LEVEL 2)
|
|
The MRI tech will come to the radiology waiting room to get the patient and walk with the patient to the MRI waiting room. Here the patient will be screened, dressed, and have their exam explained to them as well as have any questions they may have answered.(OUR level 3)

After the MRI waiting room the patient is brought to the actual scan room where their exam will take place. (LEVEL 4)

The patient leaves radiology and heads home.(LEVEL 1 and beyond)
|
|
Once the patient is dressed and has all of their things they are carried back out to the radiology waiting room where they are free to go home.(OUR LEVEL 2)

Upon completion of the ordered exam the patient is carried back to the MRI waiting room wwhere they can gather their belongings and get dressed back into their clothes.(OUR LEVEL 3)
