People who say they are voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are probably low-information voters.

In Donald Trump’s unsuccessful 2020 reelection bid his campaign spent $778,379,130 with outside groups supporting him spent another $312,254,786.

Trump has been hit with about a half billion dollars ($500,000,000) in legal penalties. Plus, he’s been paying the legal fees of a small army of high priced lawyers. It has been well established that Donald Trump is loathe to pay his own bills. Much of that money will come from the piggy banks of the MAGA faithful.

Even among Republicans cash is not an inexhaustible supply. Will it matter for GOP fundraising efforts?

The thing is, he's getting so much free coverage... The inevitable consequence of the brouhaha generated by the lawfare.

My guess is that be breaks about even.

I am not so sure that being charged with and convicted of defamation, sexual assault, fraud, election rigging, et cetera is winning him many votes beyond the MAGA cult. Losing as often as he does, does not perpetuate Trump's self-promoted image as a winner.

Even assuming that all of Trump's appearances at arraignments, surrendering to sheriffs, outside courtrooms is all free publicity, it's not timed to effectively benefit his campaign. Campaigns need to advertise the most heavily in late October and early November when it matters. He doesn't need the publicity now.

If anything, Curt. Trump's doing better in the polls since the New York decisions. He's almost certain to prevail in the Supreme Court over the po-ites who were claiming that unelected state judges and bureaucrats can declare him guilty of violating the 14th Amendment.

Your lawfare is turning him into a sympathetic figure among moderate and independent voters.

And, this Fani Willis thing? Oy feakin friggin, as po'd say, EFFINvey!

And, if the audio of the Doddering Old Fool's interviews with Robert Hur is released? Yikes! EFFINyikes!!!!!

Maybe... maybe... if that Florida case gets through the jury? Maybe!... if he's found guilty...

Saw some late night talk show in 2020 (maybe Colbert?) where Mark Cuban spelled out why he believed Trump was only worth $134M or so. Had something to do with his financial filings - seemed like sound reasoning to me, but what do I know? 🤷‍♂️
