Gang. It's a brief video. Take a look...if you care to see facts reported.

Note. The reference to the Nancy Mace/Jonathan Turley exchange.

And...oh, and pb's so bang on...to the fact that impeachment is a political, not criminal, process...

Oh, and that Hunter and Jim now have to respond to, as po'd say, EFFINsubpoenas. Keehee haha. Can you say, "Contempt of Congress?" See?, I knew you could.

Just a word to Curt. Please keep clinging to your Holy Trinity like a faithful Catholic clutches a crucifix. It's so endearing.

And, to po? Absolutely. Continue to remind us all that you center the universe and have authority to define what is and ain't "evidence" for every EFFINvoters in America, as you'd say. I promise. That'll hold until November 5, 024, baha keehee.

Yikes, gang. pb is havin fun!

Wow. I watched that whole video, Bill. With all their talk about how there was so much evidence,

it would have been nice if any of those experts had actually given their viewers a single, solitary example of some.

That's what happens when you're allowed to actually have a real investigation. And not be paid to not do your job. Especially to those making the decisions not to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same except if the president is crooked.

I'm going to preempt the sheeple. This includes everyone. You're going to give me the "butt. butt. buttwhatabout" I'm including that. There is one exception, and that is Mike Flynn. His family was threatened with being chickenshitted for the rest of their lives, and having to look over their shoulder for assholes choosing to violate the phrase I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. But in all these messes, he is the sole exception.

    HtS,
Hogan Gidley, who you quoted in your headline is, to use his term, a buffoon. Gidley said that evidence the Republicans have is circumstantial, adding "all evidence is circumstantial unless you see the crime". That is just plain ignorant. There is a lot of admissible evidence that is neither circumstantial nor witness-of-crime testimony, for example fingerprints, DNA evidence, incriminating evidence collected at the suspect's home, bloodstain evidence, etc.

The others in the panel made excuses as to why the Republicans presented no evidence in their hearing, stressing that it was only an "impeachment inquiry" and that evidence should not have been expected to be presented. That might have been believable if before the hearing James Comer had not said we will "present evidence House Republicans have uncovered to date regarding President Joe Biden's knowledge of and role in his family's domestic and international business practices".

That's the simple truth of it jjpo. I know you find everything and anything "the others" do because your hatred is so rabid. And then of course, there's the little german thing going on.

An inquiry is exactly that. an act of asking for information: an official investigation: In an inquiry, information comes in to review and see IF the appropriate laws apply, and IF they fill the predicate acts the law requires. That's all. Period.

When the case is presented, the information is in the reverse direction of an inquiry. You state the charge and show how that charge applies, how the predicate acts are fulfilled, and how the person did these things.

It's stupid to put your cart before the horse. If you're truly looking for truth, you don't lead suspects or witnesses. You ask the questions that you get answers (like them or not). After this, they could choose to not impeach. That's what a REAL inquiry is.

    OD,
I don’t think even you believe that. Comer promised evidence would be presented at the hearing. Why have it televised only to have it roundly ridiculed—even by disappointed conservatives?

  6. by oldedude on September 30, 2023 8:56 pm
Honestly jjpo, I don't care what they say. These are the rules of discovery and gathering a case. They're best practices that are routinely used.

Why are they televising it? because the dims hired a company to "produce" the documentary for the anal of history for the tune of $5,428,579. Now we have to go through the painful parts. So if anything, thank shiftless for divulging sensitive information before it was supposed to be released. And some of it was classified? Remember "i have indisputable evidence" (several times) that was dropped because it was a lie?

If you're into quickies, fine. Just say so. This is Kabuki. Nothing more. I (personally) don't waste my time on kabuki. I know how to set up a case. I know what to do with evidence. I know this is a process. I'm about done with your "arguments" that are on the verge of a third grader just learning about our legal system.
