Matt Gaetz is 41, Hutchinson is 27. Fourteen years is not an illegal age discrepancy, but it's reminiscent of his alleged sex trafficking a 17-year-old girl in 2017. Btw, read the last paragraph for Gaetz's corny pick-up line.

Incidentally, besides burning Matt Gaetz she painted an unflattering portrait of a groping Rudy Giuliani and other men. The aggrieved men she depicted in her book have called her credibility into question. She suggested that if they want to dispute her, that they do what she did: testify under oath.

(The Hill)Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson said Monday that she has “higher standards” than to date Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), adding that he is a “very unserious” lawmaker.”

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow asked Hutchinson on Monday to respond to comments made by Gaetz saying that he dated Hutchinson “for a few weeks when we were both single years ago.”

The former White House staffer refuted those claims and blasted him as someone she does “not hold in high regard in terms of trust.”

“And I do not think that Matt Gaetz has the best track record for relationships” Hutchinson told Maddow, adding, “I will say, on behalf of myself, I never dated Matt Gaetz. I have much higher standards in men.”

“Matt, frankly, is a very unserious politician,” she continued. “We see that today with the ruckus that he is causing on Capitol Hill with the spending negotiations.”

Maddow had mentioned an excerpt in Hutchinson’s new book, “Enough,” where she described numerous instances with the Florida Republican, including one where he told the former White House aide: “Has anyone told you — ever told you you’re a national treasure?”

Are we back to investigating sexual indiscretions? Do the Ds really want to go there again considering the guy they're (re)running for president?

    Preach it, Indy.

And, we all saw her lie like a rub on national TV.

    HtS,
You want Indy to preach what, more nonsense? Cassidy Hutchinson is promoting her book, no investigation into Gaetz is being launched. Where did indy get that idea?

Remember when Tony Ornato and Bobby Engel were eager and willing to testify under oath to refute Hutchinson’s testimony? They never did. All it would take is to tell their story to a notary public under oath. Nobody else did either.

I really hate when you do this(meaning you can't buy a clue about how this works).
WERE they called to testify? IF NO, then the spineless dims didn't call them. To do something you are NOT called to do is just plain fukking stupid. You put yourself in a really bad position because now you can be cross examined, and a plethora of other things you had no intention of doing. You bring this up a lot. It must be in your notes from der führer. No one in the US is STUPID enough to get involved in a case they're not called in to. You need to actually learn the law and it's consequences before posting stupid things like this.

And also. Doesn't this sound like. "when peeing outside he said..." and all the other bullshit you still believe? Like Russian collusion? The only one you got right was WMD in Iraq. That one I've gone along with you and the government's acceptance it was true (the VA is paying for Sarin Gas exposure in Iraq).

    OD,
Actually Bobby Engel did testify before the January 6th committee and spoke to the episode in "the Beast" that Hutchinson testified she was told about by Tony Ornato. Engel testified the way lawyered-up mob figures typically do: he answered their questions by saying "I don't recall".

But you just said they didn't. Could you actually put fact in your posts? Or at least try to?

    One or the other.

    OD,
I correctly stated that Tony Ornato and Bobby Engel said that they were eager and willing to testify under oath to refute Hutchinson’s testimony. They did not refute her testimony. Nobody has contradicted her testimony while under oath.

Wimping out by responding to questions with “I do not recall“ or invoking the Fifth is not refuting Cassidy Hutchinson.

    So you're paragraph sucks.
Remember when Tony Ornato and Bobby Engel were eager and willing to testify under oath to refute Hutchinson’s testimony? They never did [testify under oath to refute Hutchinson’s testimony].

That's the way it reads. So it's a misunderstanding.

"Hutchinson claims that Gaetz once grazed her chin with his thumb and asked “has anyone ever told you you’re a national treasure?” according to an excerpt from Enough Hutchinson revealed to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Monday ahead of the book’s Tuesday release."

And then later he asked to be "escorted" back to his cabin at Camp David. Wow. All of this for just that? WTFO?

Really? I thought he groped her, or "took a goofy photo taken many years earlier pretending like he was grabbing her breast. Something like that may have been worth a mention. As a woman in DC, I would have expected her to have a much stronger skin than that. Especially one that's "working her way up" through the politics of DC.
