Face it, gang, Rogan is the big-time media equivalent of pb. Thanks for speaking truth, Joe! (See video)

Just FYI, Bill... I will never click on a link to truthsocial.com.

I'm not giving that orange asshole even the benefit of my click on his propaganda site.

Has any site dealing in actual journalism reported on this bullshit?

I watched it. Rogan's definition of "election rigging" is now how much the media reported on something and didn't report on something else.

    HtS,
So is that your new definition of election rigging? Not any sort of widespread voter fraud organized by the Democrats that would have changed the electoral college results but rather unfavorable media coverage for Donald Trump?

  4. by HatetheSwamp on July 5, 2023 11:58 am

    It is my definition substantially.

I have never claimed, as po accuses, that Trump really won the election. I've said, since the dust first settled, that there was significant vote fraud...

...and, we'll never know who would have won a fair and honest election.

But, most of what I think is what Rogan said.

Fear no truth, po. You're such a snowflake.

    But, fine. Try this:

    HtS,
First off, media coverage not to a candidate's liking is not voter fraud. Every losing candidate finds fault in what the media did or didn't report. Hillary Clinton probably didn't like the media coverage of James Comey's ill-advised pronouncements. She probably didn't like the coverage of Trump's "lock her up" Nuremberg rallies.

There was media coverage of Hunter Biden laptop story in the NY Post and on FOX News. Responsible news organizations and reporters were skeptical of it's veracity and newsworthiness. Even the Murdoch owned WSJ didn't pick up the story. On top of that Hunter Biden wasn't a candidate. Two and half years later it hasn't added up to more than a tax and gun charge plea deal, GOP innuendoes and some supposed big reveals from James Comer that are always "coming soon", but never seem to arrive.

I don't recall the media talking much about Trump/Russian collusion before the 2020 election. There is no question the Russians helped the Trump campaign. The only unanswered question is how much, if any, there was coordination between the Russians and Trump campaign. But we know this among other things:
Ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort admits sharing info with Russians
Mr Manafort has previously denied sharing polling data with suspected Russian spy Konstantin Kilimnik

I'm not going to watch it because I don't care, but I will say something about Joe Rogan. First off - I've never seen a single episode of his show start to finish - not even one. I don't seek out his opinion nor am I interested in what he has to say. What I have seen is maybe 20 or so clips of parts of his show - meaning 5-15 minutes of him having a conversation with guests - that someone tweeted or I ran across researching something on youtube. Here's what people get wrong about Rogan - pretending he's an important commentator - and I bet the house he would agree with that himself. What he does very well is let his guests speak. That is why he's important. If you watch cable "news" or opinion shows - they are carefully curated and moderated to make sure nothing comes out that the network and the host doesn't want to hear. So they will cut people off, talk over them, pretend like they "lost the feed", etc... ANYTHING to make sure nothing is broadcast that doesn't follow the "company line". Rogan is important (and comically "controversial" to every other "news" outlet 😂) because he LETS HIS GUESTS SPEAK THEIR MIND. That is why he is so popular and his show (at times) is so good.
