Children should be seen and not heard. That is what I am told.

Something small, like a mouse or a rabbit. I like small and furry animals.
Something suitable, but not too out of the ordinary. A dog or a cat will provide me good companionship and teach me responsibility.
An exotic bird, like a type of parrot perhaps.

Curl up and cry. I want my daddy!
Try to find the way out anyway. It’s my only choice right now.
Use my basic knowledge of situations like this to my advantage. I’ll build a small cover to keep the rain off, then make a fire and wait the storm out until morning.

Do as he says. I just hope he will come back safely.

Listen to them patiently, all the while giving as much sympathy and understanding as possible.

I know they’ll notice the mess eventually. I’ll tell them how sorry I am then.
Clean the mess up as much as possible, and then wait for someone to notice the vase’s absence before confessing with repentance.
Notify someone immediately, and express my deepest regrets. I’ll offer to repair it as best I can, as well.

Stay where I am and hope that someone finds me before the enemy makes it up to my room.

For now, I’ll practice every day in the martial arts so that I may one day bring honour and victory to my family and my kingdom.

To be a matchless fighter and a well-known warrior. But I’ll still live for the moment and enjoy every day as it comes.
