Is it a catalog or a pre-sorted standard or non-profit envelope?

Rip it up and recycle it!

Look up the name in the "check-in resident" part of Central Desk! Did you find a room number?

Write the hall and room number on it and place in in the appropriate place on the back desk!

Look up the name in the "people search" on cmich.edu. Did you find an address?

Write the address on a forwarding label, cross out the bar code on the bottom of the envelope, write FWD on it, and put it in the FWD/RTS mail box!

Write the hall and room number on it and put it in the "on campus mail" box!

Look up the name in the DYMO app on the computer. Make sure you search by last name and choose the first letter of the last name in the drop-down tab. Did you find an address?

Print the label, put it over the previous address, cross out the bar code on the bottom of the envelope, write FWD on it, and put it in the FWD/RTS mail box!
