People who say they are voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are probably low-information voters.

People who support Robert F. Kennedy Jr. probably wouldn't support his views if they knew them.

RFK Jr's vice president candidate, Nicole Shanahan has not been seen once on the campaign trail. She has done no news interviews.

She doesn't seem to have the experience or credentials to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. But the ex-wife of a Google co-founder has a lot of money...a lot of money. She gave $4 million to the super PAC backing Kennedy. She is funding Kennedy's ballot access efforts. Basically Kennedy sold his vice-president slot to the highest bidder---that's unusual. Maybe that appeals to voters who don't like politics as usual.

As I do with all presidential candidates, I researched Kennedy's views on the issues that voters have said are important to them. See link.

That’s funny. As if voting for Biden as a lame duck do nothing second term president and having Kamala Harris a “heart beat awat” from the Oval Office makes one a high information voter. 😂

    Indy!,

    Good, as po'd say, EFFINpoint.

  3. by Curt_Anderson on May 4, 2024 10:30 am
    Indy,
I am surprised, knowing your support of pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses, that you like Israel hardliner RFK Jr. who said "You talk about solutions for the Palestinian people. The Palestinian people are arguably the most pampered people by international aid organizations in the history of the world."

    HtS,
Given Kennedy's support for a Medicare public option and same-sex marriage, among other issues, I wouldn't have thought he'd be your candidate even as protest vote.

But I guess you guys knew that are good with that.

  4. by Indy! on May 4, 2024 11:41 am

It's funny how hard you're working to make me an RFK supporter, Curt. Please link us to any of my posts from any of your archives where I claimed to support him. THEN you can link us to the source for your (alleged) quote from RFK.

  5. by Curt_Anderson on May 4, 2024 11:51 am
    Indy,
I didn't say you are an RFK Jr. supporter. You are more of an RFK Jr. defender. See link.

    Curt,

The only decisions I've made about voting are that I won't vote for Trump nor that "dithering and diminished" "feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap."

"End of quote. Repeat the line."

Good, neither of you are voting for Kennedy. My work here is done.

The Libertarian Party chooses its candidate at the end of this month. We'll see.

  9. by Indy! on May 5, 2024 10:54 am

    Curt...

    A) I'll defend any candidate against your false accusations. The only reason you think I "support RFK" is because he's the one you lie about the most because you know he's a real threat to your mindless commander and cheat.

    2) You have no idea whether or not I'm even going to bother to vote - much less who I'm voting for if I do.

  10. by HatetheSwamp on May 5, 2024 12:01 pm

I think that an RFKJ presidency would work. They'll still be a Swamp Congress. They'd have to work with each other. And, he'd rattle the bureaucracy.

  11. by Indy! on May 6, 2024 11:30 am

I'd take him over Biden or Trump. For every flaw Curt can imagine in RFK, there are 2 or 3 verifiable flaws in the other two.

RFK Jr is a conspiracy nut. If his name was Robert F. Smith we wouldn't have heard of him.

Every presidential candidate has an oversized ego, but it takes a special kind of narcissist to run as an independent candidate knowing that you'll hurt most the major party candidate who is the closest ideologically.

"Covid-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and Black people" and "the people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese". --RFK Jr.

Kennedy promoted use of unapproved treatments for Covid-19, such as ivermectin.

RFK Jr. believes that Dr. Fauci and Bill Gates sought to exaggerate the pandemic to promote vaccines.

He believes that vaccines cause autism.

"Sirhan was involved in the murder of my father, but he did not fire the shots that killed my father." --RFK Jr.

He is a hardliner on Israel, saying that "the Palestinian people are arguably the most pampered people by international aid organizations in the history of the world."

He is against US aid for Ukraine and blames the US for the war there, "our government has also contributed to its circumstances through repeated deliberate provocations of Russia going back to the 1990s."

  16. by HatetheSwamp on May 7, 2024 11:00 am

I agree with him on some of this.

I'm waiting for po to elucidate.

But, I have to be honest. I see bigger problems with Trump and with that "dithering and diminished" Doddering Old Fool's string-pullers.

AND. RFKJ ain't Dem or GOP... and, that's a good thing.

That's not what I said. And please Curt, whenever you feel ready to look silly again - link us to those actual quotes you're trying your damndest to put in RFK's mouth. Just for funsies of course, because it sure looks like nobody on this board is voting for him. But just as well - your credibility still hangs in the balance.

    Indy,
Any comment of the RFK Jr. quotes I cited? You seemed keen on my verifying them

  23. by Indy! on May 9, 2024 12:51 pm

Curt - okay... Peebs will like this first one (and btw - I HIGHLY recommend everyone check my work on this one...)

    1) Sirhan: We can go by the "official story" as you (and other low information voters) do - OR - we can go by the L.A. Coroner's official report from Thomas Naguchi who proved the kill shot came from 1-3 INCHES from the back of RFK's skull - not the front where Sirhan stood. When presented with this testimony in a court of law, the District Attorney questioning Naguchi asked if he meant "1-3 FEET?" and Naguchi replied "My goodness, it’s an inch, not feet, because of the black powder behind the ear." Naguchi confirmed this thru testing.

    2. Easy enough to destroy - I'll just post the full version of the quote you purposely edited to make it appear he was saying something totally different...

"Covid-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and Black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese,” Kennedy said, adding that “we don’t know whether it’s deliberately targeted that or not.”

That's from Curt's own source he linked above - so we know he lied to us on purpose. Just like Biden does. 👍

    3. This is actually the OPPOSITE of your first statement I asked you to support with facts. Your statement...

"He is a hardliner on Israel..."

How does attacking the Palestinians make him a hardliner "on Israel"? It makes him a hardliner on the Palestinians. IOW - a good reason for YOU to vote for him because you are a hardliner on the Palestinians too.

    4. You're actually arguing that we haven't provoked Russia since the 1990s? 😂 The Syria problem was basically a proxy war between us and Russia.

  24. by Curt_Anderson on May 9, 2024 4:29 pm
    Indy,
As you have often accused me and others, you just changed the goalposts. You no longer accuse me of falsely putting quotes in RFK Jr's mouth, since I sourced verbatim. You now arguing that RFK Jr. is correct.

What are we to make of the autopsy report? RFK may have momentarily turned around with his back to Sirhan. That witnesses don't recall Sirhan being closer to RFK is explicable because people don't notice kitchen help. What is indisputable is that Sirhan Sirhan was tackled while he was holding a .22 which he had just fired and was still firing wildly.

RFK Jr. has also said, "“Covid-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and Black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.” It's on videotape. Pay attention to Kennedy's use of "in fact" and "because".
    Source

Kennedy is blaming the US for Russia's invasion of Ukraine, because America has been mean to Russia in the past. He wasn't talking about Syria here:
“I abhor Russia’s brutal and bloody invasion of that nation [Ukraine],” Kennedy said, according to ABC News. “But we must understand that our government has also contributed to its circumstances through repeated deliberate provocations of Russia going back to the 1990s.”
    Source

Hardliner on Israel does not mean Kennedy is hard (difficult, punishing) on Israel. Hardliner means a person is inflexible on an issue. I mentioned it because uninformed RFK Jr. voters who sympathize with pro-Palestinian campus protests don't apparently realize that Kennedy is a hawk regarding Israel's assault on Gaza.

  25. by Indy! on May 9, 2024 6:21 pm

Curt, you have a very simple way of working. You pick someone you don't like - and lie about them like a good little Democrat. That's why I know you've done the same thing here that you did in the post I already answered. So because my time is valuable, I'm not going to bother addressing anything outside of this part...

"As you have often accused me and others, you just changed the goalposts. You no longer accuse me of falsely putting quotes in RFK Jr's mouth, since I sourced verbatim. You now arguing that RFK Jr. is correct."

...and I'm going to do it two parts to make it easy for you to understand.

    1) "As you have often accused me and others, you just changed the goalposts. You no longer accuse me of falsely putting quotes in RFK Jr's mouth, since I sourced verbatim."

Except you did NOT source the quotes "verbatim" (look the big words up) - you cherrypicked the words that helped your false argument and left out the ones I put back in to destroy your "argument".

    2) "You now arguing that RFK Jr. is correct."

He is correct where I pointed out that he was correct - and you were clearly wrong. Now YOU are attempting to move the goalposts by claiming it's really all about the quotes - not what actually happened here on planet Earth.

Sad that virtually every candidate in the race has some sort of mental disability. You don't suppose corporate America keeps foisting these unfortunate souls upon us so they can keep using them as their sock puppets to continue fleecing us, do you?
