The future of the whole Dem party is seriously threatened for a decade at least...because the sleepy, flatulent fool in the White House...

Earlier this month, the wife of Sean Parnell, who is running for the Senate from Pennsylvania with the backing of Donald Trump, provided sworn testimony in a child custody hearing that he had "choked her until she bit him to escape, that he hit their young children, and that he lashed out at her with obscenities and insults," according to a report in The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Parnell called his wife's testimony "lies" in a statement released by his campaign and said he would rebut her claims in his testimony, which is expected this week. Under cross-examination by Parnell's lawyers Monday, his wife acknowledged that "there were no formal interventions or restrictions" against Parnell, according to the Inquirer.
Now, let me just say this about that and let me make this perfectly clear.
The wife's story is disturbing but have you ever heard of lies being told or truths being stretched in a divorce proceeding?
If, after this issue is adjudicated, it's clearly demonstrated that Sean Parnell is guilty of anything remotely close to the story the wife's telling, he should end his candidacy in shame and retire from public life.
But, for CNN to report the story at this point in the divorce proceeding says far more about the SwampMedia than it ever will about Parnell.
I live in Pennsylvania. Before the disaster of the presidency of "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" the Pennsylvania Senate seat was considered to be a likely Dem win. (The seat is currently held by Pat Toomey, a fair moderate GOP whose popular and probably would have been reelected.) The favorite to succeed him was current Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, but as the former 18 wheeler driver began his historic fall in popularity, it became increasingly likely that Parnell, who's supported by MAGA, could win going away.
So, this early hatchet job by the Dem press, through CNN.
