Start of new year signals the end for presidential hopefuls' campaigns.

Julian Castro who is at 1.2% in the latest RealClearPolitics aggregate of national polls has ended his presidential bid. "It simply isn't our time", Castro lamented. It is an open question as to who will inherit Castro's supporters. Since Castro was perceived by voters to be a centrist, it's logical to assume that candidates with a centrist label are likely to be the beneficiaries of his departure. The SelectSmart.com Presidential Candidate Selector (see link below) has reflected the end of Castro's campaign.
In the meantime, Marianne Williamson, polling at 0.2%, dismissed her national campaign staff.
Are ex-Rep. John Delaney (0.5) and Sen. Michael Bennet (0.4) far behind in heading for the exit door?
