The former vice president’s decision means he is likely to testify under oath about former president Donald Trump’s efforts to pressure him to overturn the 2020 election.
There was an revealing "tell" by Donald Trump last month when the news broke that Jack Smith wanted Pence to testify under oath. Trump whined that the DOJ "wants Pence to testify against me!" But who said that Pence would testify against him? Maybe Pence's truthful testimony would exonerated Trump. OK, that previous sentence was a joke. 😁
