Lead's been clear. He supports Ron DeSantis for President. But, oy! This lady is magnetic on the stump. What energy! If she's nominated, I wanna see the Flatulent Fool try to keep up with this dynamo.

And, the speech itself?, she lumped OrangeMan and "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" into one. They're too old. They make us prisoners of the past. Oy vey!!!!!

It was a speech aimed at the very gullible. She apparently succeeded. She implied promises that she couldn't possibly keep even if she were elected and Congress was entirely populated with Republicans.

I'm imaging her energy on the debate stage across from a two years older Flatulent Fool. The demented codger wouldn't even submit a Super Bowl interview this year.

I recall you insisting that Trump would would have no problem beating Biden in the debates. I also remember me telling you that it's a losing strategy to insist that the opponent would fall on his face in the debate.

curt- I've never heard a candidate NOT promise everything. It's called "posting my platform." It's the ideas. Remember pedojoe "promised" to work with the GOP? THen he keeps calling a large segment of the population insurrectionists, horrible people, etcetcetc? Only the most gullible would even think he would pull that off. He assumes, like you, that anyone that actually has read the constitution and supports it is a racist, bigoted, insurrectionist that needs to be thrown in a "re-education" camp.

    Good, OD.

It's only wrong for a political to make promises if they're GOPs.

As I said, I thought it was a great speech. I was very impressed.

    And,...

...compare that speech to the Former Trucker last week. Yikes!

    OD,
Biden DID work with the GOP. Promise kept. Together the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill became law for example. Just last week Biden got the GOP Congress to agree not to cut Social Security or Medicare.

No, Nikki Haley cannot impose term limits on members of Congress. No, she cannot make it a law that politicians over 75 must take a mental acuity test.

biden had ONE bill that he got "bipartisan" support on. And those people are being systematically eliminated in their coming up elections.

Social security? You actually bought off on that? Talk about gullible.

EVERY politician talks about what they want to do. pedojoe said he got bipartisan vote on the repayment of student loans. That was an out and out LIE. It never went through congress, ergo SCOTUS threw it out. So not only did he even try to bring it to a vote, it was never introduced in either side of congress. So he did it though an EO. Even little nancy said it was illegal. I can't believe what you chose to "believe."

More than one bill, OD. Some examples...
    CHIPS Act
The PACT Act (help veterans with cancer)
Protect Act (investments in local law enforcement)
The Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act
Cameron’s Law (Orphan Disease Research Tax Credit)
The Fairness to Kids with Cancer Act
Investing in the Breast Cancer Research Program

More than one bill, OD. Some examples...
CHIPS Act= Putting a single US industry he gave away by taxing them in the first place. Not what the bill was really about. It included climate, taxes and health care package.

The PACT Act (help veterans with cancer)- "This provision is completely unnecessary to achieve the PACT Act's stated goal of expanding health care and other benefits for veterans. However, it would enable an additional $400 billion in future discretionary spending completely unrelated to veterans. By failing to remove this gimmick, Congress would effectively be using an important veterans care bill to hide a massive, unrelated spending binge."
