Rules of the Post
I'm open minded. Or, at least, I work on doing what a person can do to be broadly informed. I'm afraid that most of the rest of you don't do that. I'm afraid that most of the rest of you only feed your own prejudices.
But, in case you ever do attempt to expand your horizons and walk on the other side...
...what's your emotion when you do that?
My sense of progressives is that, under everything else, they're angry. Progressives who reeeeeally don't like Donald Trump seem always to be pi$$ed. My guess is if a progressive ever watches Fox or reads the, say, NYP, they just fume. (My sense, based on progressives I know is few ever open their minds to the other way of thinking.)
Me? I just finished watching an hour of Morning Joe on MSNBC and I was smiling for much of that hour.
I regularly acknowledge that I'm obsessed with "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" in the same way the Blue MAGAs here have TDS.
But, while obsessing on Trump makes progressives angry, for us?, Joe Biden is performance art comedy. He's President Clouseau. That fall off of the bike on Saturday...standing still...classic Clouseau! AntiSwamp people are, essentially, people with joy in their hearts and, therefore, capable of cracking a smile.
I'm writing this to ask.
When you wokesters watch Fox or think about Trump, do you ever not sizzle with anger? Can you ever guffaw? Do you ever smile?
I'm guessin not. I've never seen it. Am I wrong?
