After just over a month of polling, Joe Biden's approval number remain steady with most people approving of his performance. Four years earlier, Trump's numbers were upside down with more people disapproving than approving of Trump's performance as president.
The polling graphs below are an aggregate of polls collected by RealClearPolitics.com.
The differences in their polling numbers may partially be explained by their respective abilities to tell the truth and stick to the facts.
As for the presidential comparisons of fact-telling, Biden has a significant edge over Trump. More than half the time (59%), Biden's statements were true, mostly true or half true. Almost three fourths of the time (73%) Trump's statements were mostly false, false or pants-on-fire false. Although not indicated the Politifact.com charts below, Trump often doubled-down on his lack of factuality by repeatedly telling the same falsehoods.
