Cardin appeared as the front man for the Dems with Fox. He was, of course, questioned about BBB. He made two claims.
I actually do like to brag. Cardin, essentially, said that what pb said in the wake of the Manchin brouhaha is exactly 100% right on.
1. All of the Dems in the Senate agree that they want to pass a BBB bill for America families. Just what form that bill will take is yet to be determined...and will depend to some degree on Joe Manchin.
2. BBB will be paid for. What that probably means is that the budget gimmicks the flatulent fool offered to Manchin, which caused Manchin to scuttle BBB, won't work.
One of the major provisions of BBB is a SALT deduction that will help, primarily, rich coastal progressives, at the expense of poor and middle class people, like those strung out people in West Virginia.
What Cardin didn't say that pb said is that BBB will be broken into smaller pieces. I still think it will.
