As the COVID-19 Omicron variant spreads across the country, resulting in renewed mask mandates, travel restrictions and a third vaccine shot, Biden took a significant hit in Americans’ faith in his handling of the pandemic. While a majority of Americans (53%) still approve of Biden’s response, 45% disapprove, marking the most since he took office and a nearly 20 percentage point drop from March, when 72% of Americans approved of his response.

As inflation continues to surge in the United States, Americans have named it their top concern, surpassing the pandemic. The poll found that 28% of Americans approved of Biden’s handling of inflation, while a majority of Americans, at 69%, disapproved.

In other polls, an increasing number of Americans have concluded that the flatulent fool isn't mentally capable of handling the job.

I think that America has concluded that Joe is, and will be a failure.

The real fools are the people who have been polled. Economists realize what the general public doesn't:

Presidents tend to get a lot of credit when the economy is doing well and a lot of blame when it’s not. Both are probably misplaced, said Ann Owen, an economics professor at Hamilton College.

“Sometimes all the groundwork for success was laid by the previous administration. But the next administration takes the credit, right? Or vice versa,” she said.

As for COVID, it's still an epidemic of and by the unvaccinated coupled with a cold weather desire to congregate indoors. The vaccine is available, ultimately this or any president can't force people to become vaccinated.

As for gun violence, I am not sure it's much different now than in recent years. But whatever the numbers, it's primarily a red state problem that should be addressed on a state and local level. Any efforts by Biden to address the problem of gun violence is opposed by congressional Republicans.
Gun Deaths per Capita by State
The following ten states have the highest gun deaths per capita (per 100,000):
    Alaska - 24.4
    Mississippi - 24.2
    Wyoming - 22.3
    New Mexico 22.3
    Alabama - 22.2
    Louisiana - 22.1
    Missouri - 20.6
    South Carolina - 19.9
    Arkansas - 19.3
    Montana - 19.3
Conversely, the states with the lowest gun deaths per capita are Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, and Rhode Island, all of which have fewer than five gun deaths per 100,000 people.

    Joe invited all of this.

His initial response to inflation was that it's not real, then it's ONLY transitory. He didn't do, "I feel your pain." His thing is, "GET OVER IT!"

Regarding Covid, the flatulent fool made Trump's mishandling of the pandemic a primary focus of his campaign then he promised that he won't shut down the country. "I'll shut down the virus!" That's not working out well. Now, courts from coast to coast are shooting down his mandates. He called attention to his ability to lead the nation through the challenge of the virus. Now, he's paying.

As far as gun violence, his party is the party of defunding the police and the blood baths that are the cities of Chicago, New York, Philadelphia...and Portland.

Joe's providing no leadership in any of the challenges. And, I'm convinced that a huuuuuuuuuge subliminal problem for the former 18 wheeler driver is his refusal to answer press questions after he makes a statement or speech. The press always shows him shuffling away. That shuffle is my dad's walk as dementia made his body increasingly weak and frail. Most of us have seen our grandpa or a frail old uncle walk that walk.

Every time Joe shuffles away from the camera, the press advertises Joe as frail and inept.

I'll add that I think that the people in the White House agree with you that your fellow citizens are fools...and that's a hard way to win friends and influence people.

I'm not a believer in economics.

But, in the same way that ancient people thought keeping the gods happy was the main job of their kings and emperors, modern people think the President's main job is keeping the economy happy.

If the oracles keep saying the gods are unhappy, chances are you won't last long.
