Kyle Rittenhouse and George Zimmerman are wannabe cops who delusionally believed that they were "good guys" protecting society.

The defendants in the Ahmaud Arbery case, Travis and Gregory McMichael and William "Roddie" Bryan, in their minds were making a citizen's arrest.

Their ilk are menaces who should be charged with impersonating a police officer. They are more dangerous than a quack operating without medical training and a medical license.

Who knows what the Rittenhouse jury is going to do...and if they convict, what the judge with with the mistrial with prejudice motion that the judge has yet to rule on?

But, can you admit that the real problem now is not the crimes Rittenhouse may have committed but the prosecutorial malpractice that the poor jury has to deal with.

The DA handled this case in the way the morons at CNN and MSNBC wanted...and, now, all Blue MAGAs have to deal with what happens when you get your way with public officials.

If the Lord had been the one to deal with Kyle Rittenhouse, He would have practiced some restraint and given the jury charges that they could work woth.

I disagree. The prosecution was lousy during the trial, although the summation was actually quite good. But they weren't the problem.

The greatest impediment for the jury is the judge. His edicts about what could and couldn't be said by the prosecution was grossly unfair. Check out the judge's incomprehensible instructions to the jury. The jury eventually requested written copies of the instructions.

But the real villain in this story is Kyle Rittenhouse and whoever thought it was a good idea for the then 17 year-old to have an AR-15.

Your criticism of the judge's rulings suggests to me that you're determined to believe the worst of Rittenhouse. I'm curious to know how you think the judge unfairly hampered the prosecution. How did the judge harm the prosecution?

I can't see Kyle Rittenhouse as evil. He strikes me as an immature, idealistic teenage male who found himself in a situation he should not have been in.

I've not followed the trial as closely as some have but, based on what I know about what happened in the shootings of those three white people, I doubt he's actually guilty of much under the law... certainly not the extreme charges.

He will, no doubt, as you have said elsewhere, face some liability in a civil trial.

First off the judge said the people killed cannot be referred to as victims but could be called rioters and looters. That's not a level playing field.

What you call "an immature, idealistic teenage male who found himself in a situation he should not have been in", I call an immature, trigger-happy wannabe cop who inserted himself into a situation he should not have been in.

Actors who portray villains often say they play it with the idea that their character justifies their own evil actions. John Wilkes Booth didn't think he was committing a terrible crime in Ford's theatre. He was an idealist imagining he was striking a blow against tyranny which he announced to the audience in Latin.

Well, Curt, that's what it's the jury's task to determine. Depending on the verdict, they may, one day, be called victims.

To call them victims before the verdict could only prejudice the jury.

Victim doesn't necessarily imply a crime took place. A person can be a victim of an accident or a victim of nature such as a flood or lightning strike. They can be a victim of their own actions, for example victims of a fall in the the bathtub or even victims of suicide.

No jury convicted the dead at Rittenhouse's hand of looting or rioting.
