GUTFELD still kickin late night ratings a$$... friggin big time!

Fox News’ Gutfeld! continued to dominate, averaging 3.73 million total viewers (up 10 percent) and 315,000 demo viewers (up 38 percent) across four new episodes in the 10 pm slot.

According to LateNighter, citing Nielsen Live+3 ratings data, CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert ranked first among broadcast late-night shows in total viewers, averaging 2.43 million for the week of March 1. This was up 1 percent on the week before. It was also up 5 percent in the key demo, averaging 219,000 viewers. The show aired four new episodes and one repeat.

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! finished... with 2.28 million (up 5 percent on the week prior). However, it held the top spot in the key 18-49 demo with 263,000 viewers (up 17 percent compared to last week). Like Colbert, Kimmel aired four new episodes and a repeat.

You need to compare apples to apples. Or in the this case 10pm time slots to 10pm time slots; not 10pm to 11:35pm. In the same time slot 10pm "High Potential" on ABC gets 17–21 million total viewers, which is an audience several time bigger than Gutfeld's.

IMHO, Nielsen ratings are less and less and relevant. We watch very few shows on network TV as they air (news channels being the exception). We watch mostly streaming shows, including "High Potential" which airs on HULU a day after the ABC broadcast.

Guarantee if you were in the studio at a Gutfart taping, even the live audience is not paying attention to the "show". They sure aren't laughing at any of his... ahem... "jokes". My guess is they're sitting their playing on their phones like the Gutfart guests on stage with him.
