First for everyone. I'm NOT calling this terrorism. These assholes are just criminals and dopers in a bad neighborhood.
San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie’s security detail was violently attacked in the crime-ridden Tenderloin district, leaving two police officers injured and exposing the dangerous consequences of years of progressive policies that turned America’s cities into lawless zones.
Assholes were arrested onscene and identified as Tony Shervaughn Phillips, 44, who faces multiple charges including assault on a peace officer, criminal threats, battery, and possession of drug paraphernalia (really?). What's even funnier is this asshole was arrested in 2019 for a nearby murder on Fern Street, just two blocks from the current incident location, but was never prosecuted. Thus is the revolving door of lib state "justice." I just think it's funny that it's the mayor that was threatened. The second asshole wasn't named, with charges pending. Both assholes were taken into custody after backup SFPD officers arrived on scene. Fortunately, the injured cops assigned to the detail received medical evaluation for non-life-threatening injuries, though the full extent of their trauma remains unreported.
