The 135M number was an estimate just as the more accurate number Nielsen has now put on the Super Bowl. Nielsen now says the game averaged 124.9M viewers which means there could have been 135M watching half the game and only 115M watching the second half of the game when it got out of hand for New England (or thousands of other variations). Ratings are not a black and white result - they are simply a fairly accurate assessment of who was watching at any given time. The important aspect is everyone agrees that they are close enough to bet your money on if you want to advertise. That goes for the Super Bowl and that goes for Kid Rock's Toilet Paper USA Shit Show. The BAD (Bunny) news for Brown Shorts here and his daddy? Bad Bunny averaged more viewers than the actual Super Bowl game - 128.2M viewers as opposed to the game's 124.9M viewers. That means more people were tuning in just to watch Bad Bunny - as opposed to Brown Short's naive belief people were turning away from the halftime show to go watch a washed up "rock" star and a bunch of country singers nobody knows.
