    The New York Times is profitable, driven by strong growth in digital subscriptions.

    The Washington Post and NY Times at one time were considered equals or at least comparable as America's most important newspapers. Currently the NY Times at approximately 1,700 reporters employs more than twice as many reporters as the Post.

    That WaPo is losing money is reflection on its management. The Washington Post experienced significant subscriber losses and staff resignations following Jeff Bezos's decision to block a planned endorsement of Kamala Harris in late October 2024. Reports indicate over 200,000 to 250,000 digital subscribers canceled, representing about 8-10% of their base, while multiple editorial board members and columnists resigned.

    Now OD is the media expert. Anyone notice how no matter WTF we're talking about - Queen Odorous always imagines herself at the top of the food chain on that subject? Curt and I actually have years of experience working with media in one way or the other while Señorita Poopy Pants here gets his "info" from a propaganda arm of the GOP and actually believes it's "fair and balanced". Word to the guy dumb enough to sign up for the military - you know nothing about media so stfu.

    The WaPo also lost a ton of cash when people found out Bezos took cash from the CIA to allow them to editorialize their own stories and check the WaPo for anything they didn't want America to know.
