In his second term (starting January 2025), President Trump has issued numerous pardons and commutations to individuals convicted of various types of fraud. Notable recipients include:
Adriana & Andres Camberos: Siblings convicted in a multimillion-dollar wholesale grocery fraud scheme; notably, Adriana had a previous sentence commuted by Trump in 2021.
Todd and Julie Chrisley: The reality TV stars received full pardons for their convictions in bank fraud and tax evasion.
Trevor Milton: The founder of Nikola Corporation was pardoned for securities and wire fraud after misleading investors about his electric truck technology.
Wanda Vázquez Garced & Julio Herrera Velutini: The former Governor of Puerto Rico and a banker were pardoned following a bribery and campaign finance fraud case.
Terren Scott Peizer: Convicted in a landmark insider trading case involving the abuse of 10b5-1 trading plans.
Devon Archer: A former business partner of Hunter Biden, pardoned for his role in a tribal bond fraud scheme.
Michele Fiore: A former Nevada politician pardoned for wire fraud related to misusing charitable donations.
Michael Grimm: The former Congressman received a pardon for felony tax fraud related to his restaurant business.
David Levy: Former hedge fund executive pardoned for securities fraud and conspiracy in the Platinum Partners case.
Rod Blagojevich: After having his sentence commuted in 2020, the former Illinois Governor received a full pardon for his corruption and fraud convictions.
Other pardons for white-collar or fraud-related offenses include Brian Kelsey (campaign finance fraud), Paul Walczak (tax fraud), James Callahan (labor report fraud), and Charles Overton Scott (securities fraud).
