KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Malaysia and Indonesia have become the first countries to block Grok, the artificial intelligence chatbot developed by Elon Musk's company xAI, as concerns grew among global authorities that it was being misused to generate sexually explicit and nonconsensual images.

Musk is a piece of shit, and Grok serves Musk. In general I agree with restricting AI to protect people. I think it's comparable to nuclear power and have some concerns about its development especially because of its potential to be used for nefarious purposes, to increase the power of the rulers at the cost of the people, and the destruction to the environment.

The problem is the cat is out of the bag. As I've said all along, AI is the extinction of the human race. It's only a matter of time.

I'm afraid you are correct that this is the beginning of the end of us, Indy. JD Brick Muzzle's handler Peter Theil, who appears to have crawled out of a grave and is looking for blood after 400 years, had some difficulty answering the question when asked if he thought the human race should endure.

Old Dud, you have to understand that unlike you most of us were not around in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah. We were however around in the time of Saddam and Gammera.
