Obama didn't pathetically campaign, whine or demand that he be given the Nobel like Trump has.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee announced the award on October 9, 2009, citing Obama's promotion of nuclear nonproliferation and a "new climate" in international relations fostered by Obama, especially in reaching out to the Muslim world.
Now Trump can compare his unearned Nobel prize with his buddy Vladimir Putin's unearned Superbowl ring.

Obama was definitely an emotional pick that came way too early (if it was ever earned at all). On this we agree, Odie. He definitely did nothing in regards to nuclear nonproliferation, unless you count blowing the military budget up to ridiculous proportions like every other president does (especially Ds trying to prove they are alpha males).
But to be fair to Obama - he did NOT promote himself for the Nobel. I think he was as surprised as everyone else that he got it before he actually earned it (which - btw - he never did).
