In this case that all our lawyers are scorching every available video frame by frame to defile the Agent's actions. What everyone is missing so far is one thing. In criminal procedure, the totality of circumstances test is used to determine probable cause in order to justify an arrest or search. This is necessary because the Fourth Amendment protects a citizen from unreasonable search and seizure, so a search or arrest must be reasonable to be Constitutional, and reasonability is determined by the totality of the circumstances. [1]

Here are things to be considered the left refuses to recognize. As we can see here, the only folks supporting law enforcement are Lead and me. The left drives the numbers up, then (as usual) blames the other side for what THEY directly caused.

These threat assessment by all law enforcement and military units. They are essential to keep your people from getting killed. Over time, all units change their Tactics: Techniques(and) Procedures: (TTP) It's essential for units to keep up with these changes. If you anticipate "cement sodas" everyone working needs that information. If the "same" group uses vehicles to run down your officers, that is an escalation of force, and one to be taken seriously. If they have guns, that is another escalation.

STATS that make a difference in the totality of circumstances in this case. Attacks on ICE Agents dramatically spiked. Among these are;

Car attacks on ICE officers have surged by some 3,200% over the past year

1,347% increase in assaults

and 8,000% surge in death threats[2][3]*

The case in point.

Renee Good had been “stalking and impeding” federal law enforcement all day, Therefore, she was a known person to ICE agents as a potential threat. Regardless of how "golden" and "pure and innocent" she is according to the liberals, her presence around the ICE agents is a red flag. ICE officers approached the woman in the rogue vehicle, later identified as Good, and ordered her to move.[2]

Good opted to “weaponize her vehicle” in an “attempt to kill or to cause bodily harm to agents.” The defense in this case. will use that as “an act of domestic terrorism” — just one of three she was involved in.[4] This tactic has been used more this past year by a factor of 3,200%, So as a known threat, that is key to establishing a threat and protecting the agents, and it's added to the "totally of circumstances."

Secondly, there were several assaults on ICE agents(supporting the 1,347% rise in , which ended in arrests. Again adding to the totality of the circumstances.

"Renee Good had been “stalking and impeding” federal law enforcement all day..."

    Where did you read that?

  2. by oldedude on January 9, 2026 3:11 pm
I cited it. please keep up.

"Good opted to “weaponize her vehicle” in an “attempt to kill or to cause bodily harm to agents."” - od

She absolutely did not! Her front wheels were turned all the way to the right, away from the cop who murdered her. If she wanted to run him over, she would have point her front wheels straight at him.

    Have you watched the footage?

  4. by myce on January 9, 2026 3:15 pm
I support law enforcement. Trump's personal paramilitary that he sends to terrorize communities, is not law enforcement. Renee Nicole Good is a patriot who lost her life helping her community.

  5. by Donna on January 9, 2026 3:17 pm

I'm not going to read through 4 articles to find it od. Quote the line from the article that supports your assertion.

  6. by HatetheSwamp on January 9, 2026 3:19 pm

    Donna,

Right-wing media is all over her real story. Not The Rachel nor The Ben, of course.

Do you know the meaning of the word hagiography? Well, it ain't gunna work. Jessica Tarlov tried it today on The Five...

    ... total bust.

Thanks, OD, for the documentation,... not that truth will matter to them.

  7. by Donna on January 9, 2026 3:21 pm

I'm guessing you got that assertion from the NY Post.

  8. by oldedude on January 9, 2026 3:24 pm
since you're too fucking lazy to look, AND you don't understand what a citation is (and you went to "college?").

Minneapolis driver Renee Nicole Good, fatally shot by ICE agent, had been ‘stalking and impeding’ law enforcement: Noem (That's the headline. no need to look far....jussayin)

    or...

DHS claimed Good “weaponized” her car and tried to mow down the ICE agent before he fatally shot her in what federal authorities said was self-defense.

The troubling data on car attacks was released a day after Good, a 37-year-old mom, was killed.

Footage from the scene appears to show her striking an immigration officer with her car before he opened fire through the vehicle’s windshield and window.

  9. by oldedude on January 9, 2026 3:26 pm
Keep in mind, the shot that killed her was the first shot.

  10. by Donna on January 9, 2026 3:34 pm

    Nevermind, I found it.

    NY Post (as I figured)

"DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said the shooting, which remains under investigation, was an act of self-defense and that the Goods had been “stalking and harassing” ICE agents in Minneapolis throughout the day."

    🤣

If that's true, I need to see more than a remark from a serial liar fascist fuck like Krusty the clown. But even if that's true, it doesn't excuse the murderer.

  11. by Donna on January 9, 2026 3:37 pm

"Keep in mind, the shot that killed her was the first shot."

    So?

  12. by Curt_Anderson on January 9, 2026 3:37 pm
    To clarify:
Car attacks on ICE officers have supposedly surged by some 3,200% over the past year
A supposed 1,347% increase in assaults
and a supposed 8,000% surge in death threats

DHS is claiming "weaponized vehicle" in every ICE interaction. ICE has probably increased their number of brutal confrontations by 8,000%.

  13. by oldedude on January 9, 2026 3:43 pm

"DHS is claiming "weaponized vehicle" in every ICE interaction. ICE has probably increased their number of brutal confrontations by 8,000%." - Curt

Is it? Because he said it as a FACT. If I were to do such a thing, I'd be raked over the fuckiing coals. I'm only asking the rules are consistent.

  18. by Donna on January 9, 2026 4:17 pm

You really think that "ICE has probably increased their number of brutal confrontations by 8,000%" is from an article he read? 🙄

  19. by Indy! on January 9, 2026 4:22 pm

I explained how and WHY the media - especially the low info media like Fox - use percentages instead of the actual numbers to make a situation look far worse than it actually is. Of course the Dark Odor is wingding and we all know MAGAt and math never mix. The 8000% number is ridiculous at face value, so until we see the actual numbers (I didn't even see the "8000%" thing in Señorita Odor's wingnut citations) - there's no reason to believe there's been any increase at all in attacks on the ICEholes (who - btw - deserve it).

  20. by Indy! on January 9, 2026 4:27 pm

Here is the ONLY number mentioned in the welfare queen's citations that I see...

Agents reported 66 attacks compared to only two during the same period in 2024, the data showed

66 attacks. Big whoop - probably 60 of them were instigated by the ICEholes just like the Renee Good situation. But getting back to the percentages thing I've already explained to the Dark Odor more than once - here's how it works...

    2 attacks in 2024
    66 in 2025

    66 / 2 = 33 or a

    3300% increase in attacks

Which sounds scarier to the easily scared like geriatric MAGAts watching Fox at home...?

66 attacks or "a 3300% increase in attacks!!!!!!!"

    Idiots.

The Head of Gestapo reporting on the Gestapo's actions...?

Don't worry...? Whatever the Gestapo Chief tells us their guy wasn't guilty of doing, we can surely believe her...? Whatever she tells us about the victim, we can be certain it is the truth...?

A citizen like you would have been Hitler's wet dream, olde dude.

  22. by Donna on January 9, 2026 4:57 pm

Here's the post olde dude thought needed a citation:

"Car attacks on ICE officers have supposedly surged by some 3,200% over the past year, a supposed 1,347% increase in assaults and a supposed 8,000% surge in death threats

DHS is claiming "weaponized vehicle" in every ICE interaction. ICE has probably increased their number of brutal confrontations by 8,000%."

The word "supposedly" is a dead giveaway that Curt is questioning those stats. Curt's second paragraph is him obviously mocking that 8,000% figure.

The only time you get raked over the coals for not supplying citations, od, is when you use quotation marks and your post reads like something you didn't write yourself.

But I think what really happened is that you didn't like what Curt posted and lost your shit like that killer cop did. It's a good thing we don't have these discussions in-person, because I think that you probably would have shot several of us by now.

  23. by Curt_Anderson on January 9, 2026 5:09 pm
    Lies, damn lies, and statistics
The percentage increases are based on comparisons between a very low number of incidents in a previous period and a higher number of incidents in the specified period, the first year of the second Trump administration (Jan. 20 - Dec. 31, 2025).

Car attacks: The reported increase is based on 66 attacks in the 2025 period compared to just 2 during the same period in 2024.
Assaults: The reported 1,347% increase is based on 275 reported assaults in the 2025 period compared to 19 during the same period in 2024.
Death threats: The 8,000% surge refers to an unspecified number of death threats that was significantly higher than the previous period.

ICE arrests of immigrants without criminal convictions or criminal charges increased a staggering 1,500 percent since January 1.

I agree. My question is still valid. Why do YOU of all the fucking people on this site, believe that indiscriminate attacking police officers a "good thing?"

You have been steadfast in this. Don't you fucking realize that YOUR support in this will lead to indiscriminate attacking police officers including your son. I would have thought that any true "father" would try to protect their children. And maybe not. You "say" he works specifically in "domestic disturbances." That's pretty fucking fresh, considering one of the new things brought to YOU (personally) by the cartels that you love so fucking much, is to fake 911 calls to murder the responding officers. This is not just a local issue. It's also happening in GB and other countries. I would be really fucking careful for what you "wish" for. If in fact you actually have a son that's a sworn officer. Or maybe he's benched because he's a nancy and out of harms way.

  25. by oldedude on January 9, 2026 7:55 pm
donna- The word "supposedly" is a dead giveaway that Curt is questioning those stats. Curt's second paragraph is him obviously mocking that 8,000% figure.
what I rightly asked is if he had different numbers, he needs to fucking cite them. He ONLY provided a ruse to feed his infatuation with his sex slavery fantasy. So fuck'em.

comuda- I explained how and WHY the media - especially the low info media like Fox - use percentages instead of the actual numbers to make a situation look far worse than it actually is.
That's a really interesting thought which I brought up a long time ago regarding murder rates. YOU, curt, et al, rebuked me as the "only" way to match apples to apples. So you might want to STFU.

  27. by Curt_Anderson on January 9, 2026 8:35 pm
    OD,
Do I believe that indiscriminate attacking police officers a "good thing?" No, I don't.

I know that you have no problem with indiscriminate attacks on police officers. You even justified Trump’s blanket pardoning of the convicted rioters who attacked the Capitol police. See link.

Also I explained in my comment #23, "Lies, damn lies, and statistics" (with links to DHS stats) why your stats are misleading.
    selectsmart.com

  28. by oldedude on January 9, 2026 9:29 pm
We went round and round with "stats" when talking about gun murder rates. YOU and concha were adamant about ONLY using percentages. So now, when the stats don't suit your lies, you're against them. I'm not surprised at all. This is a tactic by the left to put their bullshit forward.

You "citation." never had anything close to me supporting cop killers. There was one post that was poorly written, but not admitting to hating cops, or supporting cop killers. I honestly don't think you have a son. Like I have said many fucking times that I worked for drug/gang task forces. Why the FUCK would I turn against them? My biggest thing was the sentencing years of jail for misdemeanors, which is why trumpster pardoned them. I was then, and am still now not convinced that releasing "all" of them was a good idea. That said, pedojoe pardoned all of his family, the J6 committee, murderers, and rapists (which I have cited many times).

You, personally, are pushing for your son to be murdered. This is growing, and YOU are part of the element that supports the murder of law enforcement as a general expression. So when he gets that 911 call and gets shot to death, please remember, YOU are the cause of that.

  29. by oldedude on January 9, 2026 9:37 pm
donna- "cite"? For an obvious opinion by Curt?

Like I said before and you told me to fuck off... He is using this as a "counter" to the statistics given by the DHS. He tried to lie about them, now he's still lying and is two faced about it. I was told that the only "statistics" that are able to be used are percentages because they were the most accurate. CURT, concha, and many others were emphatic at the time. Now when you're "caught" you're going to LIE your way out of it and change the rules. Please. Shit or get off the pot. It really is that simple.

Perfect. The Trump admin says something, and then OD literally cites it. IOW, it came out of their mouths, and he takes it as fact, and then presents it as fact in debate, expecting everyone else to take it as fact. Because why wouldn't they?

So prove me wrong. Period. End of fucking story. And please cite it. Also, I wonder how you got contrary information, when the only "facts" we have are from DHS. Are you in on the intel for this case? Are you the analyst the was tracking the vehicle? Or maybe one of the agents that was keeping up with her?

I truly marvel that you are so far in your psychosis you actually wait for some rag to make up a story with ZERO facts and call that "real." That's the STUPIDIST thing I've ever heard. This is why you cite (other than concha and his cornuda[you] who never cite). If it's proven wrong, so be it. I'm open to that as facts in any case/ story come out. I'm also the first one that admits the first few days of ANY case is driven by the known issues can change several times. Welcome to being fluid enough to accept changes as they come about. That's also why I look at the dates of reports.

So please pull your head out of your arse. Either cite me wrong or STFU.

What's really sad is in OD's addled brain - he probably thinks that's true. I had to explain the percentages thing 10X and he OBVIOUSLY still did not understand it because he's still falling for the same ruse. That is the difference between having actual EXPERIENCE in media - bring behind the scenes, working on actual news and understanding how things are done.... and being a mindless clone with glazed over eyes watching Jerry Watters on Fox and swallowing every heaping pile of cow dung that rolls out of Jerry's mouth.

And Señorita Welfare still doesn't know how she got stuck with the title of Official Board Liar. 😂

  37. by islander on January 10, 2026 1:14 pm

Keeping on point with the...Totality of the situation:

As of 2026, the Department of Justice (DOJ) maintains a restrictive policy regarding the use of force against moving vehicles, primarily outlined in the Justice Manual. The policy emphasizes that firearms should not be used solely to disable a vehicle and allows deadly force only in specific, high-risk situations.

Restrictions on Firing at Moving Vehicles
Federal officers are prohibited from discharging firearms at a moving vehicle unless an occupant is immediately threatening deadly force by means other than the vehicle, or the vehicle is being used as a deadly weapon and no other reasonable means of defense exist.

    Key Tactical Requirements
Officers are instructed to move out of the path of an oncoming vehicle when possible, as intentionally placing oneself in such a position is considered "officer-created jeopardy". Deadly force cannot be used solely to prevent a suspect from escaping in a vehicle. Firing from a moving vehicle is generally prohibited except in extreme "exigent circumstances".

    Policy Context & Updates
Following a 2022 executive order, all federal law enforcement agencies must meet or exceed these DOJ standards. The policy restricts vehicle-related shootings due to the risks of stray gunfire or loss of control of the vehicle. Recent updates (2024-2025) emphasize de-escalation and the duty to intervene against excessive force. This coupled with video evidence, the ICE agent made bad decisions and should be charged. Renee was not a clear threat, justifying excessive force.

1-16.000 - Department of Justice Policy On Use Of Force

"Firearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles. Specifically, firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless: (1) a person in the vehicle is threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle; or (2) the vehicle is operated in a manner that threatens to cause death or serious physical injury to the officer or others, and no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle."

  38. by oldedude on January 10, 2026 1:19 pm

    U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
(ICE) is subject to laws that are upheld by the Department of Justice (DOJ), and its officers work with the DOJ in various capacities...

  42. by Curt_Anderson on January 10, 2026 1:35 pm
    OD,
The DOJ policy which Islander posted is the law of the land that all law enforcement agencies are supposed to follow. Google the following Supreme Court ruling.

    Tennessee v. Garner, 471 U.S. 1 (1985)
Under the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, a police officer may use deadly force to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect only if the officer has a good-faith belief that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others.

Killer Ross illustrated why this ruling makes good sense. Besides the possibility of killing an innocent bystander, if a cop shoots at and kills a fleeing driver, the vehicle may careen out of control and hurt or kill somebody. After Renee Good was dead, her car rolled and smashed into another car.

  43. by oldedude on January 10, 2026 1:36 pm
You're too fucking stupid for words.

    1-1.100 - Purpose
The Justice Manual publicly sets forth internal Department of Justice (DOJ) policies and procedures.

    1-1.200 - Authority
The Justice Manual is prepared under the supervision of the Attorney General and direction of the Deputy Attorney General. The Deputy Attorney General has delegated authority to the Justice Manual’s Editor-in-Chief to authorize changes to the Justice Manual. The Justice Manual’s Managing Editor oversees coordination of the revision of the Justice Manual under the direction of the Editor-in-Chief.

This outlines who must follow this directive. It ONLY mentions DOJ. Not DHS, DOD, etcetcetc.

DHS has different TTP. Or didn't you recognize the difference? I already talked about this. The FBI/DEA/DOJ do it differently. DHS adopted different TTPs because of their mission. So does the Dept of the Army, Navy, AF under DOD. It's sad you can't tell the difference

Good lord, this is just too easy!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  44. by islander on January 10, 2026 1:39 pm

If Renee Good had weaponized her car with the intention of killing the Ice Agent she could have easily done so. And shooting the driver does not stop the car. However, the driver was not intent on killing the agent just as multiple videos from different angles showed. The wheels of the car were turned away from the agent, if they weren't the agent would likely be dead or severely injured.

  45. by Curt_Anderson on January 10, 2026 1:47 pm
    OD,
I know that HtS constantly chides me and others from pointing out MAGA cult stupidity, but c'mon, work with us. Don't post stupid things. I posted the SCOTUS ruling above and explained how Jonathan Ross violated it. If ICE agents aren't aware of that, that's on DHS and ICE officials.

We in the public don't know what the autopsy and evidence will reveal, but the video indicated that Ross shot at Good through the open driver-side window as she passed by.

The standards established in Tennessee v. Garner apply to ICE agents because they are federal law enforcement officers whose use of force is governed by the Fourth Amendment's "reasonableness" standard. The Supreme Court's ruling sets the constitutional baseline for the use of deadly force.

  46. by oldedude on January 10, 2026 1:49 pm
For about the 200th time. That is not up to you. The agent will have an investigation (which the state will not be a part of), and we'll see. My guess is that the AG will be involved (which is a good thing, I think, since she's the lawyer for the government). If he's found guilty of a bad shooting, so be it. That's the way our Republic works.

    OD,

All federal agencies were required in 2022 to adopt guidelines that meet or exceed the Department of Justice (DOJ) standards. If you think they are not please cite the rules for ICE use of deadly force that are lower than the federal standards.

    OD,
Don't be so certain the state of Minnesota won't be involved, despite Trump's efforts to block state and local prosecution of Ross.

Contrary to what Trump and saying, ICE agents do NOT have absolute immunity. The state of Minnesota has the right to prosecute an ICE agent who commits misconduct.

It's been reported that a Minnesota (or maybe it was a Minneapolis) prosecutor is asking for witnesses and videos of the shooting and of events before and after. The apparent reason being that will introduced as evidence in an indictment.

Honestly, there is NO published ROE because of the diversity of the groups under DHS. Everything seems to be built on the threat assessment in each mission.
In many cases, DHS carries out its mission by issuing regulatory actions. The DHS regulatory agenda includes regulations issued by DHS components, including the following seven operational components with regulatory responsibilities:[2]

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
    U.S. Coast Guard (USCG)
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)
    Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
    Transportation Security Administration
    [1]

DHS guidelines for fleeing subjects says, "Deadly force shall not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing subject. However, deadly force is authorized to prevent the escape of the fleeing subject where the LEO has a reasonable belief that the subject poses a significant threat of death or serious physical harm to the LEO or others and such force is necessary to prevent escape."

The policy goes on to state that "the reasonableness" of an officer's use of force must be judged "from the perspective of a reasonable officer on the scene, rather than with the 20/20 vision of hindsight."

I know, right! How are we going to get through to people who post and say things like the following?
"Holyfuck.... ICE DOESN'T WORK FOR DOJ🙄! You have to get the correct agency to be correct. Please take a community college course in the government you live in. It's easy. And it would be extremely helpful."

You get your news from Fox? You're not going to get too many things right correct.

Again, you're inventing something that isn't correct, fukface. You continually do this. You blatantly took out my request that he cite that. Which makes you nothing but a fucking LIAR along the concha

    THE REAL FUCKING STORY

ISLE- All federal agencies were required in 2022 to adopt guidelines that meet or exceed the Department of Justice (DOJ) standards. If you think they are not please cite the rules for ICE use of deadly force that are lower than the federal standards.
OD-cite? I'm "assuming that cornuda isn't going to answer, because he's full of bullshit also. I'll wait because I'd honestly like to see that this happened and what it says.

    OD,
You were the guy who posted that without quotes, bold italics, attribution or anything to indicate that wasn't your thought.

    But since you asked:

    Sec. 8
Providing Federal Law Enforcement Officers with Clear Guidance on Use-of-Force Standards.

    (a) The heads of Federal LEAs shall, as soon as practicable but no later than 90 days from the date of this order, ensure that their respective agencies issue policies with requirements that reflect principles of valuing and preserving human life and that are equivalent to, or exceed, the requirements of the policy issued by the DOJ on May 20, 2022, which establishes standards and obligations for the use of force.

    OD,
You would appear less foolish without the insults and expletives when you post your ill informed opinions.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a major federal law enforcement agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), responsible for enforcing immigration, customs, and trade laws, conducting criminal investigations, and protecting national security. ICE officers are sworn federal law enforcement officers.

"The agent will have an investigation (which the state will not be a part of), and we'll see. "

The state should be involved: it should be the one to investigate. The murder is a state matter, not federal and will be tried in a State Court.

Check your Constitution if you don't understand that.
