The oil is another thing. It's got 300BIL barrels of oil in reserves. [video] Agreed, that won't last long, but if a couple of companies (Standard is one) could start rebuilding the infrastructure as an investment, that would be good for the country (Venezuela) and may get them moving forward.
Also, folks say they're planning on moving back to Venezuela. They seem to love their country, but hate the socialism from Chavez and Maduro. The new president (former vice president Delcy Rodríguez) said she'll work with the US (after a threat) so we'll see how that goes.
It's good that we do have support by the people. AGAIN, I'm hoping this follows through smoothly, or at least as smooth as the Marshall plan. That would be wonderful, and we need to get out as soon as possible.
