Thanks to Glenn Youngkin and others, the GOP seems ready to mothball Trump

One thing we can we thank Glenn Youngkin for is that he demonstrated that the Republican party can move on from Trump. Youngkin never debased himself by appearing on stage with Trump or genuflecting to Trump.

Thirteen congressional Republicans broke ranks and voted for Biden's Build Back Better bill. Trump's Svengali-like hold on the GOP seems to be slipping if the votes, quotes and headlines are any indication.

Y'know, Curt. The thing that amazed me about the Virginia campaign is the newfound restraint practiced by Trump. I was waiting and waiting for Trump to insert himself into the race and bollix Youngkin's momentum, and it didn't happen.

Your articles are a nice blast from the past dose of TDS...and, for the moment, wishful thinking.

But, if Trump continues to "know when to hold em, know when to fold em" your side's in big trouble in 022 and 024.
