Were I a German citizen in late 30's who hadn't been sent to a concentration camp yet, I suppose that "Real Germans" would have despised me for hoping that Hitler would drop dead. Watching all the heinous, inhuman atrocities going on around me, and actually threatening the very minority group that I belong to? All the workings of one evil, deranged man...? Ja. Er sollte tot umfallen.
And had I been able to see from the beginning then, as I feel I have since well before now, where this was all headed... what atrocities had yet to come and just what that sociopathic maniac was doing to my once beloved, sacred country... Who could blame me for focusing all of my psychic powers on his left ventricle with a constant, double-time rendition of YMCA...? And encouraging others to focus theirs likewise as well?
They can't arrest a person just for wishing for something yet... Can they...?
