I suspect that Leavitt dropped a dime on her.

REVERE, Mass. — A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts.

The woman, Bruna Ferreira, has an 11-year-old son with Michael Leavitt, Karoline Leavitt's brother.

Ferreira migrated with her family to the United States from Brazil as a child and is currently in custody at an ICE facility in southern Louisiana.

"ICE arrested Bruna Caroline Ferreria, a criminal illegal alien from Brazil. She has a previous arrest for battery. She entered the U.S. on a B2 tourist visa that required her to depart the U.S. by June 6, 1999," the statement read. "She is currently at the South Louisiana ICE Processing Center and is in removal proceedings. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, all individuals unlawfully present in the United States are subject to deportation.”

However, [Todd Pomerleau, an attorney who represents Ferreira] says that Ferreira has no criminal record.

"Bruna has no criminal record whatsoever," Pomerleau said. "I don’t know where that is coming from. Show us the proof. There’s no charges out there. She’s not a criminal illegal alien."

At one point, she was given a "bought" Social Security card. According to curt, she's the worst of the worst. And maybe it's something that should be, if anything, a catch and release. She's never been able to have a real job because of the worry about the social security number. She's never been arrested, not even a traffic ticket. She is not one of them (as may be with leavitts "aunt" (I think?). I've stated there must be a way to keep her in the country and prosper over something her mother did. I did support trumpster in his first term when people wanted him to fix the DACA issue. He kicked it back to the congress because if he were to write an EO on it, the next president would have kicked it out. If it's a law, they can't do that. Needless to say, congress didn't even consider it out of conference. (BOTH sides to blame here) She and her family (my nephew and two kiddos) are now in Peru. I agreed and supported the initial terms of illegal gangsters, murderers, rapists, etc, being caught and deported. I still support that. That's why I like the HSI version of arresting migrants. They have the names, DOBs, and all the other legal stuff to grab assholes. If they do find US citizens, and legal migrants mixed up with the brothels and selling dope, they already have the legal right to arrest them. The ICE thing is what they've usually done. Arrest a lot of people, see what happens. We're agreeing here on this issue, and maybe not on another. I understand that. And like everyone else on this site, we're pretty powerless to do anything about it. I did email my gov's office and our AG.
