Could this be the end for Trump? The beginning of the end? The end of the beginning? It does show that some Republicans have a conscience and will not let Trump give Putin what he wants. Without this, there could well be a serious rift with Europe. Britain, Frane, and Germany have just said they still stand by Ukraine and will not support this gift-wrapped Christmas present for Putin.

𝐎𝐂𝐂𝐔𝐏𝐘 𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐒 𝐕 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐌𝐏 & 𝐏𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐍
BREAKING: House Republican DEFIES Trump’s pro-Putin pressure — moves to ram through “crushing Russia sanctions” as MAGA melts down.
Donald Trump’s months-long love affair with Vladimir Putin just hit a wall — and that wall’s name is Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick.
In a stunning rebuke of Trump’s pressure campaign to force Ukraine into a Russia-friendly “peace deal,” Pennsylvania Rep. Fitzpatrick has filed a discharge petition to FORCE a House vote on bipartisan sanctions so punishing they’d make Putin choke on his morning propaganda briefing.
And here’s the kicker: Fitzpatrick did it while blasting Trump’s “Russian-drafted propaganda” — yes, a Republican openly accusing the president of parroting Kremlin talking points.
Meanwhile, the White House is still twisting Ukraine’s arm to surrender territory, accept limits on its military, and essentially gift-wrap eastern Ukraine for Putin. But Fitzpatrick’s bill would do the exact opposite, mandating 500% tariffs on any country buying Russian oil; crippling new banking sanctions; visa bans; asset freezes; and total economic ruin for anyone propping up Putin’s war machine.
In other words: exactly what Trump doesn’t want.
Here’s why MAGAworld is panicking:
• The Senate already has a veto-proof majority behind the sanctions.
• The House bill boasts 119 co-sponsors — a ton of Republicans included.
• Fitzpatrick only needs 218 signatures to force Speaker Mike Johnson’s hand.
So naturally, Trump buckled. After months of blocking the bill, he suddenly claimed he’s “OK” with a vote — the political equivalent of pretending you were never against something after you realize you’re about to lose.
Even Senate GOP Leader John Thune is nudging the House to move first… while Speaker Johnson tries to throw the hot potato back to the Senate. It’s a full-scale Republican circular firing squad.
Meanwhile, pro-Ukraine Republicans like Lindsey Graham are practically screaming that passing these sanctions is the only way to stop Putin’s genocidal invasion — and to counter Trump’s Moscow-friendly “peace” giveaway.
The bottom line?
A Republican just launched a rebellion against Trump’s Putin-first foreign policy — and if Democrats and anti-MAGA Republicans unite, they could hand Trump one of the biggest foreign policy humiliations of his presidency.
The vote is coming. The question is whether the GOP will stand with America’s allies — or keep bowing to the Kremlin’s favorite president.

Glad you posted on this, meagain.

I hope that we eventually find out what Putin has on Mr. Piggy.

This phrase came up in another, current thread. "Reasonable cause" is a legal standard that requires specific, articulable facts and circumstances that would lead a reasonable person to believe that a crime has been committed or is about to be committed.

Given the suspicious and inexplicable way that Trump is a toady to Vladimir Putin, it is is reasonable to think that there is something to that so-called Russia, Russia, Russia hoax.

Curt - yes, and my guess is we're probably getting closer to seeing it. It's exactly what this country needs - a total accounting of all the criminal activity in DC starting with Trump. And this all started with Epstein. If not for the files and Trump's weak ass attempts to brush it under the rug - the GOP would still be marching in lockstep with their orange master like OD and Brown Shorts.

"BREAKING: House Republican DEFIES Trump’s pro-Putin pressure — moves to ram through “crushing Russia sanctions” as MAGA melts down.

The deranged TrumpHaters' belief that MAGA is melting down, preached previously by Donna and Curt, is as real-world as the fundamentalist belief in a seven day, 24 hour creation. And,...

... Brian Fitzpatrick ain't MAGA, bahaha ha!

Some of your have a lovely, glass-is-half-full hate of Trump, and of working class voters.

It isn't a belief, it's supportable by data.

The Democratic Party is also going through a civil war of sorts but they aren't in power, so it isn't as noticeable.

Neither party is going away, though.

I think it will make everyone's heads spin at how fast the Republican Party reconstitutes itself into a newly viable and relevant political party after they become cancer Trump free.

    Donna,

What's the... data... that MAGA... is melting down?

"I think it will make everyone's heads spin at how fast the Republican Party reconstitutes itself into a newly viable and relevant political party after they become cancer Trump free."

    Hmmmm.

    Interesting.

Being that the GOP is the home of openness and inclusion, acceptance, tolerance, diversity and freethinking...

... realities foreign among Dems and progressives in general,...

... for you to understand the dynamism and inherent chaos that thrives in the midst of that absolute freedom defies possibility.

Marjorie Taylor Greene - Mrs. MAGAt herself - said the Epstein thing has blown the MAGAts apart. Think of it this way... You know that scene in the original Alien where the xenomorph bursts out of John Hurt's stomach and the entire crew around him jumps back in horror? Same thing. Trump is John Hurt and the MAGAts are the crew members.

Forgot - Epstein is the xenomorph. 🙂

I find this one funny and sad at the same time. The libtards are the ones that have continually insisted on "no bail crimes" which is assisting numerous perps in their crimes, and the victims of the crimes are forgotten by everyone.

This past weekend, The attacker, Lawrence Reed, 50, had 22 prior arrests since 2016 alone, had a bottle of gas, which he poured on The victim, Bethany MaGee who remains remains in critical condition with severe burns to her body.

New York City saw a “staggering” 146.5% jump in felony assault busts for repeat offenders over the past six years. Suspects with at least three arrests on their rap sheet were charged with assault 442 times last year, up from 274 in 2018 — part of a pattern that shows wrongdoers are being cut loose too often, with the NYPD blaming soft-on-crime Albany lawmakers.

Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch told reporters “That is what we’re up against, And we know why. The key driving factor is the revolving door of our criminal justice system, created in large part by legislative changes that took effect in 2020.”

Interesting that you have a problem with this when you were fine when T rump released cop killers back on the street and moved a convicted pedophile from a real prison to a country club prison where guards hand serve her dinner like they are her personal servants.

And then there's T rump himself. Convicted of 34 felonies and you wanted him back on the street to commit more crimes against America.

  13. by oldedude on November 24, 2025 8:45 pm
You still haven't been able to "prove" they were cop killers. The ONLY person that died was a protestor. THAT IS THE FACT. You "choose to use the LIE of the left which has no fucking say in court, or with anyone that actually understands US LAW.
