I am quite sure the "new information" that will hold up the release of the files is that Trump newly informed Bondi not to release anything in the Epstein Files that might incriminate or embarrass Trump. I predict we will see a complete and unredacted Epstein Files at about the same time Trump releases his tax returns which last we heard are still "under audit".
The congressional bill awaiting Trump's signature contains exemptions similar to reasons Attorney General Pam Bondi previously cited in withholding documents, and the investigation that Trump demanded into Democrats’ ties to Epstein could give the department another reason to keep them confidential.
Bondi said that “new information” obtained by investigators had prompted her to reverse her decision to close the case four months ago. Both Bondi and her top deputy, Todd Blanche, would not say what that information was.
Attorney General Bondi skirted questions about her plans to comply with the bill, awaiting Trump’s signature, requiring the Justice Department to release its remaining unreleased Epstein files. Bondi, speaking at department headquarters on Wednesday, vowed to “follow the law” and protect the Epstein victims.
