Under Trump, the U.S. military has blown up 20 suspected drug boats, resulting in 80 deaths, in the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Trump and other top officials have contended that such boats are being operated by narco-terrorists and cartel members with deadly drugs bound for America.
So what's the difference between these "fishing boats?" Honestly, NOT a dang thing! trumpster still wants to take out the fishing boats using the US Navy. My guess is the ROI is higher with that. The Coasties are built for this though. They carry the .50 cal machineguns, and other gear. The difference is the coasties are also putting themselves in a perfect situation to be killed. Thusly, like obomber, the drone or other aerial platforms are better. What they gain in security and safety, they lose in intel. USCG is providing that every time they get a fishing boat.
