"The victim, a 15-year-old girl, testified in court that she engaged in consensual sexual activity with the defendant two other times in the girl's bathroom at Stone Bridge High School."
Evidently something changed in their relationship or the circumstances because on the occasion in question she testified that she felt intimidated into performing sexual acts with the defendant.
I am just theorizing, but is it possible these two students were caught in flagrante delicto and the girl merely claimed she was an unwilling participant? Given that her father became unhinged and had to be physically restrained by police at a school board meeting, she probably was afraid of her father's reaction.
