Yes - true. From way back in 2007...
I'm taking a different course this time around and voting straight Republican right down the ballot from top to bottom. Yes sir (and ma'ms) - you heard me correctly - all Repub. The reason? Simple - my thinking is if let the Repubs have another 4-6 years in control of the House, Senate and White House - just imagine how much worse things will be. Are you catching on here? Since they've been in control - the country has been in a total freefall... NOTHING has gone right. The only way things could possibly be worse is if Osama himself were broadcasting his message everynight from Madison Square Garden. So if we just let things continue for another go around - the GOPers themselves will be begging the libs to take control again and set the country back on a proper course. They're already hedging their bets about Bush by saying things like "I can't STAND Cheney" which is actually code for "Bush sucks - he'll get my vote when cows fly out of my rectum" so just think where their mindset will be in 2008... They'll be screaming it out loud in the privacy of their own homes "BUSH SUCKS! WTF WAS I THINKING WHEN I VOTED FOR THAT MORON????" Then when they get behind the curtain they'll be pulling the switch for the libs. Sure they'll come out and say "I voted for Jeb! FOUR MORE YEARS OF BUSH!" for appearances sake - but deep down they'll be sweating bullets and praying Hillary gets elected so she can straighten out the Iraq situation which by then is run 100% by bin Laden and al-Zahrakawi (sp??) who are holding all 140,000 of our soldiers hostage in Abu-gahraib (sp??) prison and broadcasting nightly homoerotic abuse videos featuring Bremer and Chalabi. And my thinking is the situation will be so horrendously out of control by Nov. 2008 that all the voting age Repubs will be so horribly scarred for life by the experience of their party being totally in control and totally trashing our once beloved country that they will never again be able to pull the lever for the Rs. Even when they put their kids to sleep at night they'll be saying "Don't listen to what Mommy and Daddy say in front of the other grown-ups - vote Democrat if you want to live free in a democracy." Sure. It's inevitable.
