James, a Democrat who infuriated Trump after his first term with a lawsuit alleging that he built his business empire on lies about his wealth, was charged with bank fraud and making false statements to a financial institution in connection with a home purchase in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2020.

The top federal prosecutor for eastern Virginia, a former Trump aide, personally presented the case to the grand jury weeks after she was thrust into the role amid the administration’s pressure to deliver charges.

That lawfare thing? It ain't gunna go away, bahaha!

It will definitely go away. The question is will it go away before there is a trial or when she is found not guilty.

  2. by HatetheSwamp on October 9, 2025 4:32 pm

    Curt,

The smoke-filled room's Trump lawfare came to nuthin and, I suspect, this will too. But, Trump's mob still has more than three years to do the lawfare shuffle. It'll be fun!

    Curt,

I can't friggin wait until Trump's regime indicts Sen Adam Schiff, D CA!

Is your Holy Trinity reporting why this is a distinct possibility?

  5. by oldedude on October 10, 2025 8:04 am
So instead of arguing over stupid shit, I looked up the charges. I know that doesn't matter to the libtards, but it would help focus on the thread.

Mortgage Fraud Claims: Cruella de Vil is accused of falsifying documents related to mortgage applications for properties in Virginia and Brooklyn. Cruella claimed on a mortgage application in 2023 that a house in Norfolk, Virginia, was her primary residence, despite her position requiring New York residency. As her "primary residence, she would have to drive at least 5 hours each way to us it as her primary residence.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) referred these allegations to the U.S. Department of Justice, claiming that she misrepresented her primary residence status to secure favorable loan terms. She claimed both residences as her "primary" address, ergo, she lied to gain something of value. Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) found "multiple instances, falsified bank documents and property records" in order to secure "government backed assistance and loans and more favorable loan terms." This is a slam dunk. You get the paperwork for all loans. You can't legally have two primary reside in two places as a primary residence. The loans she "secured" as her "primary" residences.

Falsifying Financial documents She claimed her "father" was her husband (not that there's anything wrong with that). Not unknown in the dim circles. dims routinely marry their brothers or fathers and other sordid and illegal activity.

The biggest laugh in this is the time spent when the left on this site were chirping "NO ONE is above the law. Now it's turned on them and the two faced sheeple are spinning a 180. Just a general question. How many of you have neck issues from turning you faces so fast?

"This is just the latest chapter of "Trump goes after yet another person he doesn't like". Tin-pot dictator crap."

Right, Donna. Just like Dem Trump TDS lawfare came from deranged TrumpHate. Lawfare is lawfare.

What's commendable about Trump's is that he, at least, ham sandwiched Tish before a lib Grand Jury.

What's amusing to pb is y'nes objecting when Trump does it but cheered when Trump was the lawfare target.

That sort of hypocrisy is the kind of thing that seeps into the consciousness of "low-information" moderate and independent common sense voters. Yeeeeeeha!

    Indy,

I get that your Fox News obsession links to a troubled relationship with your father. Still, while it's sad, I have to laugh... at you.

James' "legal" team already filed a "mea culpa" defense in claiming the "residence" in VA was her "primary residence." Unfortunately for James, the request and her "lawyers" were both tossed out of court, therefore supporting the state's claim of intentionally lying on a sworn Power of Attorney declaring that James intended to make a Virginia house her “principal residence.” The charges of bank fraud and making false claims to a financial institution that netted her nearly $19,000 in savings on a loan for a second home, according to the Department of Justice. That allowed her “to obtain favorable loan terms not available for investment properties,” Unlike what the defense wanted, the court found it to be a legally binding question that enabled her to close a federally backed mortgage at the lower rate.

The "interesting" part of this is this isn't a single false declaration, but the systematic pattern it represents. For over two decades, James has filed mortgage documents and financial disclosures containing demonstrably false information. The notable issue with this is that every single false statement provided James with direct financial benefits—from more favorable mortgage terms and interest rates to qualifying for federal assistance programs she was otherwise ineligible for. OOPS.

So every piece of property documentation has been listed as property with FOUR (4) units, which makes it eligible for the federal rate. No problem right? Except its legally binding Certificate of Occupancy that clearly designates it as five units (thusly NOT available for the federal loan requirement).

Every financial disclosure filed with New York State shows some combination of undisclosed mortgages, phantom loans that don’t appear in property records, delayed reporting, or shifting classifications. This is huge because each time she LIED on the forms, is another count of the law. This would be financial fraud x(I dunno, 50, 150?). The MSM is saying a total of 60 years. I'm not sure she'll spend any time in jail, but maybe she'll get a $464 million fine. Just like trumpster was given...

It's the TDP, and being subtly extracted from his father's house. But of course, he's too stupid to understand the slight. Or the reason for it.

And you can source that "extracted" thing whenever you're ready to double down on your title of Board's Biggest Liar. 😘

"As Dems say, "No one is above the law "

    1. Correct. The "Dems" on this board (there are none, but we know what you're trying to say) will completely accept any justified punishment that is levied on James. Meanwhile, rightists will continue to thrash and wail about the "injustices" done to our obviously criminal President.

It absolutely blows my mind how unaware and tragically ironic y'all are. You may as well slap yourself in the face and ask us how bad it hurt us.

    2. Did you just post something that is NOT related to trans issues? Well DONE! *golf clap*

  19. by Navy2711 on October 11, 2025 1:58 pm

Oh, and also: Look at the thumbnail of your video. That's the kind of "information" you consume.

I know you're confused, and don't understand what point I'm making right now. The rest of us get it, though.

I wonder that Trump's advisers allow him to pursue this vengeance against his political enemies. Particularly Comey. They might feel free to now make public all the dirt they have on Trump.

  22. by oldedude on October 11, 2025 3:05 pm
Because they're all being charged with felonies? And far more than what trumpster has ever been charged with.

Cummy especially. He LIED to the FISA courts on numerous occasions that produced fraudulent warrants and subpoenas. We call it "fruit of the poisonous tree." He was caught and pedojoe allowed him to "resign" without a trial. trumpster is just correcting that piece of injustice.

He (and John Brennen) knowingly used a made-up "report" in order to support his subpoena request numerous times on wire-taps, et al. Plainly, THAT is illegal. The FISA court caught him and publicly informed the nation and all the law enforcement agencies that what he did a first year law student should have known. And ALL cops in the US are taught about this. So if there's a lie anywhere in the case, you have to destroy all "evidence" of that product. It may be legal where you are, but I seriously doubt it and you would have to show me the law on that one. I know you're not that much of a kangaroo system.

You don't have the knowledge of knowing anything about the US law, as you usually agree with wrong again, which is just as stupid as agreeing with donna or her other bitch.

  25. by Indy! on October 12, 2025 7:29 pm

Then why is it everytime we have some issue concerning law or the Constitution, I'm the one who's always proved right and you are always the one proven to get your "info" from the Fox Fiction Factory? Your cut and paste posts aren't "knowledge" of anything other than you knowing how to (barely) use a computer.
