One of my deepest hopes is that somewhere, in some secret laboratory facility, there are about 100 clones of Bernie Sanders being raised.
He's got the message that people want to hear. But he has to fight against the corporate media machine just to get his message out there. Leaving him with having these incredible, eye-opening town hall meetings all over the country to bring the message right to people's own ears. People who barely even know who he is. People whose only knowledge of him is that he's "that socialist commie guy".
But when they hear his message of clear, rational, people-based governance, the whole picture of what this country has become flashes into clear focus for them. It's literally a shock to most of them. And he makes it clear what needs to be done and how we all are going to have to do it.
There needs to be at least 100 Bernies out there doing this. With an army like that, this message could sear into the mind of every person in this country who this current government is screwing. And who our governments have been screwing for years.
We probably won't be able to do it with clones. But with all the young people out there who are inspired by the truth of which Bernie speaks (and has been speaking for like 60 years), young people who know in their hearts that this is the message that people need to hear to turn this country around and want to spread that truth to others in their communities, this fight may just be winnable.
This is an incredible video. The perfect amalgamation of what Bernie's fight has been all about for all these decades. And why we have to win it.
