Fox News' 'Dana Ding Dong Perino' mocked by Newsom after she lashes out at Trump jibes

Gov. Gavin Newsom's (D-CA) digital media team continued its trolling of President Donald Trump on Tuesday — but extended its attacks to include a Fox News host in its latest X posts.

"DANA 'DING DONG' PERINO (NEVER HEARD OF HER UNTIL TODAY!) IS MELTING DOWN BECAUSE OF ME, GAVIN C. NEWSOM!" the post on Tuesday morning read, using the style Trump frequently uses on his Truth Social platform.

"FOX HATES THAT I AM AMERICA’S MOST FAVORITE GOVERNOR ('RATINGS KING') SAVING AMERICA — WHILE TRUMP CAN’T EVEN CONQUER THE 'BIG' STAIRS ON AIR FORCE ONE ANYMORE!!! TRUMP HAS 'LOST HIS STEP' AND FOX IS LOSING IT BECAUSE WHEN I TYPE, AMERICA NOW WINS!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER. — GCN"

Newsom's staff, led by Camille Harper Zapata, has mimicked Trump, using all capital letters, inventing nicknames and, at times, speaking about himself in the third person. The updates also often end with Trump's phrase, "Thank you for your attention to this matter."

On Monday, Dana Perino spoke on "The Five" about Newsom's posts.

"You have to stop with the Twitter thing," said Perino. "Where is his wife? If I were his wife, I would say you are making a fool of yourself, stop it… He's got a big job as governor of California, but if he wants an even bigger job, he has to be a little more serious."

So the guy who is posting this stuff as a joke needs to stop doing it because he might make a fool of himself (the actual POINT of his actions) - but the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES who does it SERIOUSLY in a sad attempt to make people believe he has some idea what he's doing... should just keep posting like your garden variety resident of a mental institution.

Has Perino ever chided Trump for not being appropriately serious in his role as POTUS?? Trump's posts are similar in style and no less ridiculous, but the humor of Trump's posts is unintentional.

And, she's right. Gavin will have to be more serious.

You are our Fox News expert. You know. Perino is one of the many at Fox who ain't a Trump fan. She is one of quite a few who is a serious political analyst. You know, I'm certain, that she was W's Press Secretary.

And,...

... she proves the truth that the GOP is the home of openness and inclusion, acceptance, tolerance, diversity and freethinking.

She's a W compassion conservative Republican.

She's not Rachel nor Joy Reid. She doesn't chide.

Point: She's not chiding Gavin. She's pointing out that, if he's going to win in 028, he's going to have to win the swing states. He won't do that, IMO... and hers, with his California baggage, through buffoonery.

Dana is one of those you may not agree with, but you listen to. Her knowledge of how the whitehouse should run, is far deeper than anyone on this site, especially the libtards. And she's even keeled on trumpster. And I've seen her really dig into him. Funny, I agreed with her.

Gavin can't take the swing states. He taxing sucks, overspending. During COVID, the big movie/TV shows were allowed to operate cafe's without masking, and closed the restaurants next door. People remember that. If taxing businesses is part of being the "president" he's an epic fail at that also. Those same movie studios will go anywhere else so they get a better deal. Canada thanks gavin a lot because he sent them so many movies and series'.

Bottom line. He's a newstyle over progressive that can't land the moderate vote.

Newsom is poking fun @ Trump and we all get it enjoy it, except, possibly, for the hard core Trump supporters. And Trump's support from independents is plummeting, and those numbers include Republican independents as well, and the pure independents often don’t bother to vote at all. So I don't think anyone has to worry about losing independent votes. 😀

Every election works the same...

All the Rs will vote for whoever has the R next to their name because that is the... ahem... "depth" of their political "intelligence".

The Ds will only come out in force if one of two things happen...
A) The Ds are sick of the R president (that box is checked) and/or...
B) The Ds put up a candidate who motivates voters

Option A is enough to swing elections. It happened after Bush 43's second term and it happened after Trump's first term. That's the end of the story....

UNLESS...(!)

...the Ds actually try to come up with a good platform/policy for the first time in the last 30 years.

Libertarians do have a sense of humour, I agree, Hate. An inverse one. They are funny by being fools and therefore capable of being mocked.

An outstanding example of that is this from Australia.
