I just thought this statistic needed its very own thread.
It's a jaw-dropping statistic. They could well be called the
Grand Old Pedophile Party with a stat like that. What is it that makes sexual predators and deviants flock to the Republican party in such droves? The party used to be all about law and order and morality and justice.
Yeah, not anymore. Not by any stretch of a sane imagination. Something about the party started attracting the worst dregs of society... the criminals, the con artists, the billionaires, the psychotic, the perverts, the racists, the misogynists... know that they have a safe place to call home.
They are even
ecstatic to have elected a 34-count convicted felon and adjudicated sexual abuser to be our president. A man who, just a couple of decades ago, wouldn't have gotten past his campaign announcement that he was running before being run out of town on a rail. A friend to our enemies, an enemy to our friends. An insurrectionist traitor. A boundlessly corrupt sociopath. An embracer of cop beaters, A flaming pathological liar whose idiotic lies have gotten so stupidly blatant that even the staunchest, most ignorant and gullible of his supporters are starting to go

It's as if electing such a heinous excuse for a human being to be our president was the clarion call to all the most detestable of our society to rise up and be counted. To take pride in their abominably antisocial proclivities. To congregate and engage in their detestable behaviors with wild abandon. To go for broke in trying to take over the whole country and loot its treasures as fast as they can cart them away.
Yes, a very slim majority of the voters, about 20% of our population, wanted such a "man" to lead our country. A critical mass of the despicable, the deplorable in America have made the once great Republican Party their total bitch. And the weak, pathetic, existentially terrified members of the Republican party just keep letting it get worse and worse.
